Above and Beyond!!

"It is a fortunte thing for me to be a happy and most satisfied customer of the Rocky Mountain Trail.com store. With my last three transactions, they have gone above and beyond in ensuring i had the information I needed to make thoughtful and satisfying transactions. My most recent experience involved my request to find out a specific measurement of a men;s jacket to see if it would fit me as what I was needing is a women;s extra large and the jacket i was interested in was only available in a men;s version. Being a women with curves, I needed to see if the mens medium size would be wide ensough to fit over my hips. And the men;s large would have fit but then the chest and shoulder areas would be way too big. The amazing folks at Rocky Mountain Trail went to their warehouse to measure each of the men;s size medium jacket in their inventory. Because of this extra effort I was able to find a jacket that is just a bit wider than the others that will fit. Thank you again for being personally involved and the most excellent customer service. "I ordered a backpack on December 14th and paid for rush shipping and it didn't arrive until December 20th - after I'd left for an international trip.

I repeatedly called customer services representatives throughout the week of December 14th asking where the backpack was and the blame was entirely put on the US Postal Service. They are the third party involved, Rocky Mountain Trail is whom I ordered from and whom I was relying on for the product to arrive and that didn't happen.

I was left hunting through San Francisco for a backpack large enough to last me a month abroad, 18 hours before my flight. This not only was disastrous, but ended up being more expensive than the backpack I ordered through RMT.

They have issued a shipping refund, but that's it. To say I'm disappointed in the customer service provided by Rocky Mountain Trail is an understatement.

"REALLY think if you want to buy it or not, because once you submit that button, they'll automatically take your money. I received a $10 coupon after buying a jacket and wanted to use it, but it didn't give me a choice to put in my promo code. It just literally confirmed the purchase and took my money. Called in, and I just HOPE they don't f/ck up. oh, and rude "customer service" "

"Spent an additional $11 for 3-day shipping. Ordered my pack on Friday, it shipped the following Tuesday for delivery "by end of this week early next week." That's not worth $11 and not 3 day shipping. Maybe they meant it would take them 3 days to ship it? I was counting on having it by Friday, which is why I paid the additional charge. "

"The absolute requirement for shopping at RMT is an immense indulgence towards such "a small company". Be ready to accept their apologies that Rocky Mountain Trail, "as small company", has no international billing, has no proper inventory web status ... So even after placing your order don't be surprised that all you'll finally receive is just another apology."

"Like a lot of people, after reading the reviews, I was hesitant. I paid through PayPal just in case. My North Face sweatshirt came in time. The only issue was I never recieved a conformation email from them, only the email from PayPal. I sent an email to their customer service and recived one back immediatly telling me my item was shipping tomorrow. Just do your research. Check BBB. I would use Rocky Mountain Trail again."

"I placed my order on 3/20/11 for a clearance North Face fleece jacket and got it on 3/25. I was hesitant because of the reviews, so I decided to pay through paypal just in case I had any issues. But no issues at all and I couldn't be happier with my experience!"

"On 12 Jan 2011 I ordered a jacket from this website. It shipped the next day. I'm an active duty military member that is stationed over seas. The package was sent via USPS and was not tracked by this company. They said they do not track packages to FPO/APO addresses, which is where it was sent. They collected my $189, sent the package and I never received it. I've called them repeatedly and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which went nowhere. I was told that they won't refund my money until I send them back the jacket. I've never received it, and its been over a month since it shipped. I've looked online at multiple websites and have seen dozens of similar stories from other consumers about the same company. They all state the customer service departments refused to help them, and mentioned the same name multiple times. Patty, the Customer Service manager, which is who I dealt with and basically stated she can't and won't do anything. So, here I sit with no jacket and they have my money. I'm still trying to figure out how the BBB just closed the case. I was able to find the Vice presidents name and will attempt to contact him. Not really sure what else to do since I'm overseas which compounds the problem."

"I too have been waiting nearly a month for my order. I ordered a northface jacket online, got the wrong color. sent it back 12/22, got a ups tracking number, they received it on 1/3, but when I call, they havent gotten to it yet! I will never ever order from this site again. this was suppose to be a xmas gift. this is ridiculous"

"This is by far the worst websitewe have EVER ordered from hands down. My husband, who is deployed to Afghanistan, decided to order me a North Fact jacket for Christmas. Something I have been wanting for years but with 3 kids, I couldnt justify spending that kind of money on myself. Upon returning my very expensive North Face jacket to exchange for a different color, the staff decided to take their sweet ass time fulfilling the exchange. When I first sent the item back (and spending quite a bit for the insurance and shipping) I was told the color I wanted was in stock and a note would be made to hold one in my size. Well, that was a flat out lie. 4 days after they recieved the return they finally decided to do their job and behold, the color I wanted was no longer there. Hmm, maybe just maybe had it been handled when it was recieved, I would have gotten what I wanted. Instead, I received a phone call saying it was no longer there, I had to pick something else. The one I picked again was not in stock so it would be an additional 7-10 days before it would even be in their wharehouse. 3 weeks later (and after the day I was quoted that it would arrive at my house!) I called to see when it had shipped. The damn thing hadnt even been pulled yet! Someone literally had to go down and pull the items to ship. Then, I was told that it was placed on a 3 day ship. Well, that was 4 days ago. Ups just came to my house to deliver a different package but no jacket. I will never reccommend this site to anyone, its a joke and the people who work there are lazy retards. This whole process has taken 6 weeks at this point. We aren't talking about some cheap ass walmart t-shirt, this is an almost 200.00 jacket. Get your stuff together and learn how to properly maintain customer service. Even a quick phone call or email would have been better than just sitting around waiting. Maybe it will come before spring time. Either way rest assure I will never do business with this company. This site is LAME!!! If I could, I would give it zero stars if I could. Trust me, these employees have been told the exact same thing that has been written here. "

"I bought a winter coat for my father's bday from this online store. It turned out to be the most terrible online purchase i made. they claim it takes about 7 to 10 days to ship the order. however, 2 wks after i made the order, they still haven't shipped out the item. so i called them. the customer representative said it will take at least another wk for them to ship out the item. she was really rude throughout the conversation. it kinda amazed me that they are still in business... "This company is great to work with. This was my first order and I linked it though bing.com. By doing this I received an extra 12% off of my order on top of free shipping for a $25.00 purchase and a coupon code for another 10%off. "Wanted to place phone order on weekend off hours. Sales rep asked me for my phone number via online chat and called a few seconds later. Courteous assistance. Order confirmed on Monday, package arrived UPS 3 day on Thursday as promised. Rockymountaintrail saved me a c-note on the same bag at retail. Would shop here again."
