"TLDR: Had a very disappointing experience with this online retailer. They decided not to ship the shoes I had ordered, citing concerns about my shipping address.
I ordered a pair of my favorite hiking shoes from Rogan's website, and had requested that they be sent to my partner's commercial shop.
Rogan's had trouble confirming the address, so they contacted me. I spoke with two staff members via phone, confirmed the address, and provided my partner's residential address in case they had trouble shipping to the commercial address.
The next day I got an email from the company stating they still could not confirm the address, and would not be able to ship the shoes.
I called the company to find out how I could rectify the situation. During that call, they:
1) Expressed concern that I was taking advantage of their service
2) Suggested that I may have plans to resell the shoes internationally for a profit
3) Implied that I might be using an address in a state without sales tax to save money, and
4) Mentioned that they'd called the business next to my partner's shop to inquire about his business and me. (Felt like a violation of privacy.)
I was shocked. Where did the suspicion come from? I'm a 38yo woman who loves to hike, and I was excited to receive a pair of my favorite waterproof hikers since my old ones are wearing out.
I've never had trouble ordering items from any online retailer.
Really disappointed. I won't be using Rogan's again."

"Buy one get one half off sounded great since I needed both dress and athletic shoes so when asked what I wanted for a gift, I said a gift card from rogans shoes! I checked out their web site the day before going to the store to narrow down my options. Arrived with a list of shoes I wanted to see. Of my top 3 dress shoes they only had one pair available in the store which I did not care for. Found a great pair of athletic shoes though! Decided to order the dress shoes I liked online but guess what? The online site does not recognize gift cards??? WHAT! They have to be delivered to the store. FINE except in order to deliver to the store I have to PHYSICALLY go in to the store to make a "down payment". NO it cant be the Rogans gift card, NO it cant be a credit or debit card and guess what, because they had to be ordered online, they DO NOT qualify for BYOGO! Will NEVER go to this store again."
