"I have previously pre-ordered a video game from RosenQueen before. They promptly shipped on the release date and I had the game the very next day as I live in the same state, less than 40 miles away from their location.

However, my most recent purchase has run into some trouble. I ordered a java mug set and a pencil board set on June 26 in the morning. It is now July 2 in the afternoon. I have not received my order, nor have I received a tracking number for my package (I selected UPS for shipping). The only details about my order that I received was an email confirming that my order was processed. I emailed them yesterday and have not received a reply yet. I know replies take from 1 - 3 days usually, but I tried to call their listed telephone number twice on different days as well. Both times nobody answered and instead I got their answering machine telling me to leave a message. As of now I have no information on my order.

I will update with any further news.

Update: July 6, 2009;
I finally got a person to answer the phone. Apparently one of the items I had ordered that said "In stock" was actually back-ordered. I was given an option to replace it with a similar item or wait till it is in stock. I chose to get the similar item. It would have been helpful if they gave me a notice of why my order was being held up.

Update: July 10, 2009;
My order was finally shipped today. 14 days after my initial order and 4 days after the correction. Delivery estimate is July 13. The shipping and handling of this company could use a complete make-over, but the customer service, if you can get through, is great.

"Satisfactory, but it's certainly no Newegg in terms of retailer quality. Ordered a phone strap and T-shirt. Insufficient information on both products; what's provided only hints at what the product looks like. In the case of the phone strap, the picture shows the charm in what looks like a surrounding plastic circle, which would make one believe that's exactly how it looks. But there is no plastic base for the charm and it is simply the object displayed within the circle. The T-shirt also had major issues of inaccurate display on the site. There is no picture of the shirt itself on the site or even a layout of the shirt; all that's shown is the design with the information that it's a "Pleinair Guitar Master Baseball T". However, because it is a baseball T-shirt, the sleeves are black and very long for a T-shirt. There is no mention of black sleeves for the shirt anywhere on the site (or what color the shirt even is, for that matter, although the design has a white background). Shipping to MA with priority mail took about three days after a day of processing. Very rough around the edges, but at least the shipment was unharmed and the items were high quality. Order with caution to item descriptions and pictures."

"Ordered from them twice previously. Had a hiccup with the 2nd order where it appeared as though the poster I bought was damaged before it was even shipped. Took a few e-mails but everything was resolved and I received a free replacement poster. Just now pre-ordered another game and soundtrack. Thanks--

On recent order, I preordered Soul Nomad & The World Eaters, along with the soundtrack. Sent in cheap bubble mailer and the CD case was broken. I notice that the packaging, no matter what I buy, is consistently lackluster.

Rosenqueen recently had an extensive feedback and survey session. I spoke my piece, but when the poll came around, a question addressed this problem and asked "which was most important", and the issue of packaging problems came up. It received 37.7% of the vote at 316, which leads me to believe that other people have had to deal with shoddy, cheap pacakaging by RosenQueen in the past.

I sincerely hope they address this matter and at least make an effort to use proper packaging, rather than the cheapest of the cheap mailers, or someone ruining posters by shoving them and creasing them into a 25-cent flimsy poster tube.

I intend to order from them in the future, but if they continue to damage items with careless packaging and the cheapest materials (third order in a row where all of this has occurred), there is little incentive for me to continue to pay for them. I intend to buy 10-12" STATUES from this site, and I have very, very little confidence that they will properly package them.
