"I would recommend to avoid this company. I paid them almost $700 to process my passport renewal on an expedited basis and sent them my original passport, completed passport renewal application and other required documents. Three days later I received a call from a stranger in a town 200 miles away, informing me that RushMyPassport had delivered my original passport, unprocessed renewal application and other documents to him. He knew the materials were personally sensitive, so he called the phone number on my application and sent the materials to me. The next day, I received a call from RushMyPassport informing me that they had lost my passport and advising me to replace it. I informed them that they sent my materials to a stranger, who returned them to me.
RushMyPassport made two very significant errors: After receiving my materials, instead of processing the extension, for some unexplainable reason they sent my passport and unprocessed application, including my Social Security Number and other personal identifiers, to a stranger in another city. The stranger's intervention and integrity were the only reasons that their errors did not result in devastating personal consequences to me.
I raised these issues with the business, but they refuse to take any responsibility or even acknowledge the errors. Their internal processes are clearly not capable of handling sensitive personal identification information. Use them at your own risk.

"If you need an expedited passport just go to your Local USPS office and ask if they have walk-ins to apply for your passport. It's simple. If they don't have walk-ins just google usps near me with walkins or schedule your appointments at least 2-3 weeks before your flight. I learned today that rush my passport was a scam. I payed $688 followed their todo list they gave me and usps told me it was fraud that I needed to request my money back because I still had to pay usps for the passport. "
"I was charged over 488 dollars for a complete SCAM!! So I was trying to get my daughter’s passport within 8-9 days, On April 3rd 2024.. And we were planning to go to Barbados on May 5th 2024. I went to the department of state and took HOURS.. Just for them to tell me my departure date has to be within the 12-14 day time frame.. So I went back to the car furious, and drove to 3 different post offices that were “APPOINTMENTS ONLY!” So I had to go ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE U.S DEPARTMENT OF STATE, And this time there was a different man at the front desk. I explained to him what happened earlier and guess what he told me..? I had enough time to ship out my passport normally instead of paying almost half a thousand dollars for this s***ty scammy company. After that, I called RushMyPassport and told them I wanted a refund because I no longer needed their services. And the guy on the phone was STRUGGLING to speak English to the point where I could barely understand him. And then he told me there needs to be an “approval” for me to get a refund? What the hell?! Why couldn’t they just give me a refund normally..? Please do not use this website!! It is a complete scam and you're better off going to the Department Of State to get a passport the regular way."
"My passport had been sitting in a que doing nothing for 6 weeks despite a expedited payment of 189, I called and figured out the issue, they cancelled my order without my permission immediately and tell me to apply for a refund, after refusing to allow me to speak to a supervisor. Very Shady and evasive company, I have screen shots and emails to document my horrible experience. If you need a passport, this is a total waste of time, and zero service and support."
"I went in as a dumb person needing an expert who can take me through the process. At the FedEx office, the people there were slow and it took forever to get everything together. Then, the picture they took was rejected by the passport office. When I went back to the FedEx office, they didn't have photo paper and said I'd have to pay for shipping the replacement photo that they messed up (and that I paid over $250 for). So I went to CVS, paid $17 for a passport photo that checks to verify it will pass the passport offices requirements. But to go in an update my profile on RushMyPassport, I have to login to a special @Govworks.com email address they make me create, which I was locked out of and best part yet... they send the password reset link to the Govworks email address I can't access. So the chat people on their site were very helpful and sent a FedEx label to send in my passport photo, and I think they upgraded my profile, but I can't get in to check things out. When I called Govworks.com phone number, it answered as RushMyPassport, then made me leave a message for support... Basically, I paid $250 to have RushMyPassport (really the FedEx branch who took my photo) mess it up and cause a small train wreck of drama. Do yourself a favor and just go to the actual passport office. Friends of mine promise it was super easy and they can expedite as well. RushMyPassport is a service for idiots like me who think getting a passport is difficult, but it only is if you pay someone else to mess it all up for you. "
"It’s a scam. Do not use this company. Go directly to the state department. It’s a waste of time and money. "
"I'm not sure how they have any good reviews on the web because the it's a total rip off and no one gets back to you. You get an answering service that has NO ability to help you. I paid for expedited services with no results. In hindsight , I would have gone directly through the government. "
"Awful experience. Totally inefficient and unprofessional
I filed my documents but wasn't able to download, even though I had paid my fee. I spent 3 days calling, but couldn't get through. I was on hold for over an hour several times and got cut off. I tried leaving my name for a call back and never heard from anyone. I tried to use the chat feature, but was told that because I wasn't in process they couldn't help. After 3 days, I finally reached an agent who told me their system had been down, but that that wasn't their fault and that I should **** it up. Do NOT use this company. They NEVER fixed it I ended up having to pay more for the passport."
"Your claims of excellent customer support are highly exaggerated and do not reflect the actual services you provide. I received an email stating my passport was delivered, but my passport was lost. I was left with no tracking number for my passport delivery, no customer support or chat available to resolve my issue. You claim to have services available 6 days/week. This is simply not true. There is no one available to give support, and when you do get someone, they are not trained to assist, they simply pass you off to a supervisor that is supposed to call you back within 24-48 hours - and they never call. I will not recommend your services to anyone. I had an awful experience with your company. You should all be ashamed of the high prices you charge and the lack of service you provide. I would've been better off doing the forms myself. This service is a joke."
"DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE it is a scam! I mailed them my passport and documents on 12/28 for their five week service for over $250. My documents were not received by the government until today 1/14 over TWO WEEKS LATER. I would’ve been better off just mailing them myself. When I contacted customer service they were extremely rude told me it must have been “weather delays” (there has been no inclement weather in the past two weeks, I live in the north) and there was nothing they could do. I am out all this money and now will likely have to cancel my trip. Absolute scammers I truly don’t know how they get away with this. I’m so sad."
"Misleading, deceptive , and thieves. Wont cancel my order. Reps are rude, put you and hold and hang up. I know its covid but don’t lie to us! Fed Ex completely told me false info as well. Give me my passport back!!! "
"On June 3rd Ive decided to renew my Passport through RushMyPassport agency. Ive decided to use 4-6 week choice as it aligned with my travel plans. All of the documents were sent the same day. For nearly 2 weeks documents were going through an” review “ with their agency before it finally arrived on the 15 of June at government. The government passport site says it takes 4-6 weeks to process. I have called RushMyPassport and was told that 4-6 weeks listed on their website does not include 2 week review conducted by them and mail time too. So with priority mail , you are looking 8+weeks at best. I asked the lady if i can cancel my services with them and was told that should i decide to do this , this will cancel entire application process and i will have to start over and pay again the processing fee to the government . I am stuck and now forced to stay with RushMyPassport in order to hopefully one day get my passport "
"The point of this company is expediting an already straight forward process.
I didn't spend over $100 (SEPARATE from the cost of expediting the passport by the U.S. government) to sit on hold for over 45 minutes.
I still haven't gotten through - this is the third time I've called over the last three days.
How can I cancel this? "
"Trying to cancel is impossible with them, three calls and as of right now I have been waiting for 22 mins without talking to anyone."
"I would give them less than 1 star if I could. This company does not respond to emails at all so that is pointless. They do not provide you any helpful information over the phone and they won't put anything they tell you in writing.
I had to call National Passport Information myself to get real answers. I asked to speak with a manager because the customer service person was not able to give me an answer. I was put on hold for 5 minutes then they came back and said the manager couldn't speak with me but would give me a call back. They never called back... not that I expected them to at this point.
I would advise going somewhere else. They provide terrible service. "
