"I saved over $130 by buying a sales demo (open box) Nikon M223 3-12x42 rifle scope from samplelist.com (SWFA's site to sell all salesmen demo optic). The Nikon I bought is $449 new and was rated as "DEMO B: Shows Very Slight Wear From Use". Honestly though, mine showed little to no signs of use much less wear. It even came with a quality scope mount that would have cost at least $50 new itself.
In the future, when I want a new scope, red dot, mount, spotting scope, etc I plan on checking samplelist.com first for more SWFA salesmen DEMO bargains!

"I have always been hesitant of buying cheaper optics, but in today's world sometimes you have to do what you gotta do. I decided to try one of the fixed 16 power SWFA classics in Mil values. It has positive turrets and very clear glass. It tracks well and returned to zero perfectly. I zeroed at 100 yards got my trusty ballistics calculator and immediately went to 600 yards, it was dead on. I am very happy with it and with SWFA. I will definitely buy from them again without hesitation.
