"My wife is 68 and I am 75. Five years ago were out to buy a new bed to solve sleeping issues we were having with aches, pains and restlessness. We went to a furniture company who was selling very expensive mattresses based on their high tech software assessment of the softness/firmness for each of us. "Did it all on line but sending them the check. All in all it took about two weeks to get the bed, mattress, support, frame and sheets delivered. Maybe a half hour after the truck arrived they set up the bed and took the old mattress and its support away. Left the old frame for me to take to the garbage/recycle area. I recycled the old queen mattress cover with the new long single bed mattress. I am not sure I needed to buy $110 sheets and a pillowcase at the same time/place that I got the mattress, etc. but it saved time and effort, probably worth the extra cost. I would do it over if I had to make the choice."
