"I suffer from SAD and my docotor told me about these lights which help to deal with the symptoms of SAD.
I have a light which I use in the morning and evening but I wanted to get the dawn light to wake me rather than having an annoying alarm clock.
To slowly wake up to increasing light has made a huge difference in my mood and I actually feel like getting out of bed. I also have a sound effect machine that use as well and for 15 min each morning I meditate to the sound of the ocean while the "sun is rising", its a great way to start any morning.....
I would reccomend this to everyone especially from October through March where it seems that will live and work in perpetual darkness.
I long for the lovely summer evenings where I can be outside gardening and enjoy the sun... instead I plug in my light put on wonderful music and relax. I actually feel that I have more energy and even if the morning "dose" is only 15 min, those 15 min put a smile on my face as I exit my home into a dull grey winter day ....
