In the process of running a small R&D segment of my company I rely on innovative and trustworthy vendors. As part of ISO standards, I have to use company approved vendors.
I browse the SainSmart web site looking for items I need and also finding "smart" items for a future projects. So my orders are only 25% - 50% required items and the rest is for the storage shelves and future dreams.
On a recent order involving multiple shipments, some of those extra items were shipped but never delivered. SainSmart customer support identified this before I even realize items were missing. They stayed in contact with me constantly to ensure it was finally delivered. The unnamed shipping company (DHL, Fedex or UPS) lost the package, found it then failed to deliver but decided to return it to the shipping hub in China and start the journey over again. I believe this was a total of 30+ tracking records and 40,000 miles of travel. Was Sarah just interested in the drama of a shipping company's problems or is the entire SainSmart customer support team personally invested in customer satisfaction way beyond their shipping dock?

"I bought three pocket-size Digital Storage Oscilloscopes from Sainsmart: DSO201, DSO202, and DSO203. The transaction and post-transaction communication was flawless but I thought there was a problem with my order because I only received the DSO202.

I contacted Customer Service and my non-problem was caused by a misconception on my part when I placed the order because the other two DSOs were in China, not the USA and the two DSOs had already been packed up and were being put on an airplane to Los Angeles.

My two lost little lambs showed up at the door in perfect condition and I'm having fun putting them through their paces. The packaging and build quality is top notch and so far all three pocket 'scopes are working so much better than I expected that I am totally amazed and impressed.

"I am building a very large computer Christmas light display. I had been looking all over the net for good and trustworthy supplier. I need over 80 relay boards with 8 out puts and 10 mega 2560.

All the items were wrapped in their own foil and bubble wrap. No damage here.

Unlike buying from ebay I know that I'm going to get something that works and that if something were to go wrong sainsmart will help me or replace what I bought (I've done it before, it was surprisingly easy). The only problem I have with them is that product documentation is hard to find and when I contacted them via email it took a few emails to get a page link that worked and had what I wanted. But Now I've got the drivers and can continue with my project.

"At our little company we go through many prototyping parts, and we have found that Sainsmairt is at the top of the heap when it comes to value. They have great prices, and often have discount deals with discounted or upgraded shipping. These little things add up when your on a tight budget.

Also, there was a small problem (my fault) when I put the wrong billing address in for my credit card, but it was quickly resolved through fast replies from customer service.

"I received the 4 x 12 character LCD for my Arduino without a single piece of paper , receipt or documentation or software or website reference.
Advertised as coming with a tutorial it didn't.
I trawled aroun the web found resources that promised to work & they didn't work that was 4 hours wasted. I wrote to SainSmart they emailed me a link to download a rar file which contains a lot of information & also a sample program which won't compile so instead of a plug in device I thought I get working in 10 or 15 minutes I am now trying to debug C++ program code to get it to work. Wasted > 6 hours on this
