I've gotten burned with bad counterfeit arduinos from amazon in the past but I've never had a problem with any of the arduinos from SainSmart"
"Prices are reasonable, shipping time and speed are really good.
The only drawback was that part of my order was shipped separately, and not using DHL express that was used for the first part. And I was not notified that it was shipped separately, I found it out only after opening a support ticket.
I hope this will not result in me having to pay customs brokers fees twice. Otherwise it will be sad.

"Ordered a SainSmart MEGA2560 R3. First one worked for about 10 minutes before the FTDI chip stopped working. After a week of emails I was sent a second one which has a bad voltage regulator and gets smoking hot after being plugged in for 5 seconds. Now I have paid for the original item and customs and duty twice and it still doesn't work. I'm cutting my losses and will only buy genuine Arduino product from now on."

"The RAMPS board worked, but the electronics for the heated bed was a bit undersized, so I had to replace 2 parts. The optical endstops stopped working, I ended up replacing them with mechanical. The price was right, so I can deal with a few issues."
