"This is by far the worst business I have ever had the dissatisfaction of dealing with, their incompetence is quite staggering.
Let me start off by saying that I placed the order for a Parker Fly Mojo "Blemished" model on 7/15 and I paid $58 extra for next day. The first hang up was them not accepting the shipping address. I always ship everything to my work address, otherwise I miss UPS and they have to redeliver since they never leave a package; not that I would want them to leave a $2000 guitar laying on my porch.
I straightened the shipping issue out and just had them ship it to the address on the card. They assured me it would still be delivered on the 16th. So I took today off to wait for it but somebody dropped the ball and it ended up shipping via UPS Ground. I have never had this happen in all of my dealings with online retailers.
After speaking with them they blamed it on UPS and are only refunding the shipping cost. The only other option they offered was to send the guitar back and get a refund.
All in all I am thoroughly disappointed with their service and will never deal with them again."

"I placed an order for a digital piano keyboard on 6/1/08, as promised by Same Day Music, the item was shipped on 6/2/08, within one business day.
However, the item was arrived defective on 6/4. Contacted Same Day Music, and was prompted processed for exchange. The exchange unit was shipped out on 6/5 and Same Day Music also send me return label for the damaged unit. Exchange unit was delivered on 6/11 by UPS and UPS also picked up the return unit the same time. It was a smooth exchange.
Unfortunately, the exchange unit also has a small defect. I contacted Same Day Music again, and asked the possibility of getting a credit to keep the item. Returns department contacted me by email requesting pictures. I sent them pictures of the defect and was promptly offered a $75 credit to keep the item. I negotiated and was able to get $100 credit to keep the item.
Overall I am very satisfied with Same Day Music."

They placed a hold on my account for an item that was backordered and I did not authorize the transaction for the backordered item, I authorized it to purchase the item. it has taken me 3 days to get my money back in to my account and it shouldn't have been taken out in the first place"

"I ordered an Alesis IO 14 audio interface from Same Day Music. Between the time I made the order and the time it didn't (I repeat didn't) arrive, they pulled this product off their shelves. What did arrive was a reverb pedal. The reverb pedal cost about the same as the alesis. I think they were actually hoping I would just keep it. Judging from other reviews, this appears to be common practice with this company. I don't even play the guitar!
I had to go through the slow and annoying process of calling the customer service reps, waiting for them to send the new ups sticker, and I now need to send the reverb pedal back to them.
During that time, they refuse to refund my money, even though the invoice they sent with the reverb pedal (which they have on record) is clearly not the order I made (which they also have on record). What a pain.
These guys either do not have their act together or they are complete weasels."
