"We bought out 2005 Sequoia from a private party about two months ago. The vehicle did not come with door clickers aka transmitters. I went to Toyota Rancho Santa Margarita to get coolant and the employee behind the counter was very friendly and we started talking in general and the topic of the clickers came up. The employee helped me figure out the part number I needed, helped me order it online where I saved about 40% of the price, and called the service center to confirm a price. Frankly, the price I was quote to program three clickers was cheaper than any other place I could think of. The part was delivered to the dealership within 24 hours. I made my appointment that same day I received the notification. They fit us in and right on time, thanks to their automated update system, the service was done and they programmed all our clickers. "The young lady who helped me was terrific. She was service-oriented, took her time, looked up the order, and explained the reasoning for the delay. Unfortunately, the initial person at the counter left a long-lasting wrong impression. Before asking for any additional information, he asked if I had received the second email. I wasn't sure what he was referring to, so I showed the email communication from the dealer. He asked for my name and punched it into the computer. He said my part wasn't there, then walked to the backroom. I wasn't sure what to do next, so I waited. The young lady came out a few seconds later. As she was helping me, I heard the clerk in the backroom bragging to his other coworkers about getting rid of the line quickly and "kicking them out." If the gentleman is the face of your parts department and is careless and callous about dealing with your clinical, perhaps it may not be a bad idea to provide additional training in customer service and customer etiquette. Nevertheless, the young lady who was there was amazing and helpful. I hope she is the face of the parts department. "
