"I purchased what was supposed to be a 14K 4mm 24inch, white gold, diamond cut, rope chain from the Sarraf website. After receiving the item, I had it measured and tested for purity. It was messured at 3.8mm and was actually 10k gold which turns a brownish color when tested correctly and isnt 14k. The chain was sold to me at 14k price. More than one jeweler told me that no reputable jeweler would do such a thing and this is only known to be done by jewelers who do not have a good reputation or that are not well known. I was ripped off. Very unhappy!"
"The ring I was sent didn't match the pictures on the website -- it was described as having a nearly flat profile with rounded edges, but I was sent a domed ring with square edges. In addition, it was supposed to be 7.5mm wide but measured exactly 7mm (using calipers). The ring also weighed significantly less than the listed metal weight (they say this can vary by up to 5%, but the ring I received was much less than 5% lighter) even though I would expect a size 10 ring to be *heavier* than the generic weight listed on the website. In short, I'm pretty sure they sent me a cheaper ring than the one I'd purchased. The website says the ring I purchased is supposed to be 20% heavier than the regular ring. I'm pretty sure they substitued the regular 7mm domed ring hoping I wouldn't notice. Or else they just use misleading descriptions of all their products.

"I wanted a 7.5” 14k yellow gold “Gold Nugget” style bracelet, (17mm;34 grams) for less than $2000. And that’s EXACTLY what I received, for $1702.
The piece is BEAUTIFUL! The item arrived in a lovely bracelet box, appropriate for gift giving; the weight matched the Purchase Order, the item listing on the website and the promotional literature. The closure on the bracelet matched the description and the photos. I had no reason to call Sarraf Customer Service about my purchase. I also recommended them to my husband for his purchase of a gold item, and he saved considerable money.
When I was shopping for my bracelet, the jeweler I usually purchase from did not carry “Gold Nugget” jewelry, telling me that the style is “Dated”! (Did no one ever tell them that the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!??) I have the same issue with my hairdresser...wait, my EX-hair dresser...when I told her how I wanted my hair cut, she said “Oh, you don’t want THAT, it’s SO 1980s!!!” Yes, and your point is? She became my EX-HAIR DRESSER when I walked out of her shop with a 2017 haircut I hated!!
Back to my POINT...my LOCAL JEWELER quoted me “a 7.5” 14k yellow gold “Gold Nugget” style bracelet, 17mm and 34 grams for $4299 plus 7,5% sales tax. He also handed me a “Tear Sheat” which had other sizes and widths...which...by the way, was the SAME page that Sarraf.com displays when you pull up “Gold Nugget Bracelets”."
"As other reviewers have stated here, I am so glad I did not read the negative reviews. Before I made my purchase I called Sarraf with several questions. The person who helped me was extremely pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. After he answered all my questions I made the purchase online. I received the 2mm milgrain wedding band in several days. Free shipping too! Shipped well packed. The ring far exceeded my expectations. A beautiful ring! The description online stated a weight of 1.9 grams. When I bought the ring to a professional he weighed it on a tested electronic scale and it weighed 2.5 grams! Also another site told me a 2mm cannot have milgrain on the edges because 2mm is too thin. Well I have a 2mm milgrain edged ring from Sarraf and it is beautiful.

"I bought a bracelet for my daughters birthday from them. She put it on her wrist and we went out to eat. When we got there I noticed the bracelet on the table it had slipped off of her wrist. I put it back on her and it seemed ok. Unfortunately it wasn't she came home without it. Beware of this companies quality. The lock was faulty and they had shipped it to me like that yet they won't stand behind their product. Would definitely stay away from them. Don't be fooled by the good reviews that you see here, it was probably posted by them."
