"I ordered many items from this store this October - they were having such a great sale, I purchased some sale items and some non-sale items. My order shipped the same day and when I needed to return my items, the process was painless. I followed the very clear instructions to request an RMA and I sent back my package and was credited immediately! Some people order without understanding the store policy and I see this time and again on these store review sites. You must understand the terms of your sale - yes, they charged a restocking fee, but I was told that upfront so had no problem with it. As far as I can tell they are an upfront and honest company. This is the second year in a row I've ordered from Scavenge and I used to go to their store on State St in Santa Barbara. Love these guys!"

"DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from this company or its DBA HalloweenPlayground.com. They charge a restocking fee - their policy states "may charge". They sent me a costume inaccurately sized and did not even give me an exchange option. Of the $142 I spent, they only refunded $109 PLUS I had to pay to ship it back. I reported them to the BBB, and they would not even respond!! I am out approximately $50 and have NOTHING to show for it. THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION!!"
"VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!
We ordered a costume in size M/L according to the website's sizing chart and selected UPS Ground shipping. The order arrived 10 days later having to come from CA to the east coast. My wife tried on the costume and it was way too small. Her sizes easily matched the smaller of the M/L as indicated on the chart so the item should have easily fit. So we submitted for a return. The return instructions stated we had to return the item within 5 days of having submitted the claim which meant having to spend $18 to ship the item in order for Scavenge to get it in time. My wife repackaged the costume exactly the way it came and yet we were charged a 20% restocking fee (which according to the website was not a mandatory charge). We order a lot of stuff online and have never experienced such nonsense in returning an item. If we had ordered the wrong item or size, so be it but this was a case where the item was either mis-labeled or cut entirely too small. "
