"Pretty much the same as everyone else, "Very Dissatisfied". I placed an order on 10/5/2003 and received en email receipt for my order, and thought everything was fine.

After 2 weeks, I still had not received my shipment, which was a simple little switch. Curious as to what was up, I contacted the email address provided by the site.

Two weeks after that email was sent to them, I still have received nothing. No email, no product, not even a jar of Vaseline.

As of 11/02/2003, another email has been sent off to Scorpion Mods / Virtual Underground, almost one month after the order was placed, however I highly doubt I'll receive anything from them. Good thing Scorpion Mods / Virtual Underground isn't the only place I can order the switch from.

As of 11/06/2003, I have yet to receive anything from Scorpion Mods / Virtual Underground. In addition to the email addresses, I have attempted to contact the owners via the telephone number available on the site, as well as the numbers listed in the WHOIS information for Scorpion Mods and Virtual Underground, no answer at either.

I've continued to press the issue, filing complaints with The Internet Fraud Complaint Center [IFCC] (ifccfbi.gov) and the Better Business Bureau Online (BBBOnline.com). In addition to them, I have filed a complaint with 2CheckOut (2co.com), who processes the credit card information for Scorpion Mods / Virtual Underground. I've also contacted ViaWest Internet Services (viawest.net) who owns the IPs associated with ScorpionMods / Virtual-Underground as well as hosts the site. And as anyone who orders from a company that rips them off should do, I've also contacted my Credit Card issuer to report the fraud.

Well, it's now 01/22/2004 and still have never been contacted by them. Just wanted to post an update.

6/10/2004 - I finally received a refund check from ScorpionMods, as well as a formal apology. I doubt the reasons for the problem stated in the letter, but that is neither here nor there.

"I contacted the owner brett and he was good at replying before your order is placed. Upon payment of my order, i tried emailing him and didnt get a response from him. so i thot i wouldnt be charged for the ordered i made. After a month i got my billing and was surprised to see i got charged and up to this moment i havent recieved any responses from my 50+ emails and didnt get what i ordered for. This store is a rip off ......... I am not the only one as u can see in thier forum.

"I'm STILL waiting on my order to arrive. I placed an order back in july which took over a month to receive - i contacted the owner, and he assured me all problems had been taken care of.

I trusted him and tried them again...what a mistake. I try contacting the two e-mail addresses the site offers with no response. I'm VERY upset about this.

"I purchased a custom built case from Brett, he agreed he would have it done within 2 weeks. 4 weeks later, I still have no case, no one will reply to my emails, I finally had to contact their credit card prcessing company to get my money back."

"Juan and Brett both seem like fairly nice and outgoing people, however, in April 27/03 i placed an order with them.
i had requested to be notified when the products were shipped out so that i knew which days to be waiting for the parcel on the door step. 1 week after paying for the product through paypall i had not recieved a reply from neither brett nor juan, a month has gone by, and i have sent off roughly 1 dozen emails between the 2 people and have not heard any reply. Against their wishes, i called juan, as the other number (for brett) was no longer in service. Juan was very apologetic and gave me bretts personal email address, assuring me that he would recieve that email..unfortunately i have not heard back from them, nor recieved my products, if by the end of this month (June) i have not heard anything i will be taking legal action.

"I placed an order from this company and have not reveived anything thus far from them. I have sent two emails to them and have yet to hear back corncerning my order. "The first negative review I'm writing... I'm sorry Brett seems like a nice guy but I'm tired of this situation.

It all started when I placed my order in February 1... I forgot 1 of the cc kits so I mailed ScorpionMods and asked if I could still add it to the order. He told me I cold,to pay the rest trough paypal. So I did it the following day. When I receive the order a couple of weeks later, I notice that the kit wasn't in the box... And one of the inverters also wasn't... So I mailed him.

He apologized and told me he had noticed the mistake and was going to send it right away. This was 17/02... 24/02 I thought a pin extractor would be of some use, and that way I wouldn't pay more for shipping and ScorpionMods would loose less money in the shipping, since it was a 12$ flat rate, so I mailed him asking if the order had already been dispatched. It hadn't so we agreed to add the pin extractor. I paid trough paypal once again and added 2 more products on the 27th. Then I waited for the sending confirmation... I sent a few mails and received no reply. On 06/03 Brett replied saying that the package had been sent. On 20/03 I received a package and thought I finally had everything.. Well I didn't. I had what I ordered later but not what was missing in my first order (dual cathode kit and 4" cc inverter). But they included 2 free fans making up for the delay.

On 25/03, as requested, I sent him an email with my address and exactly what was missing. He didn't reply so 08/04 I mailed him asking if it had been sent. He said it had.

Today is 01/05 and I haven't received anything... I've given up so we haven't talked since then.

I'm sure I could have been a happy costumer, they seem to be a serious store, but it unfortunately didn't go that way...

"After getting recommendations on the [H]ardforum about scorpionmods.net I came here looking for cold cathode kits. I found a dual inverter setup here for an excellent price. After placing my order, Juan was extremely helpful with getting me tracking info and seeing that the order got processed quickly, even right around the New Year's holiday. Excellent customer service, I would highly recommend them to anyone and would definitely buy from them again."
