"I had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered 22 sets of little charms to be used as an incentive program for our swim team 7/8-yr-old girls. I rec'd e-mail confirmation of my order and it said: "Item status: in stock and reserved". After no confirmation of shipping I called. They said there was a delay. The next day, I called again, and same thing. Next day, the computer said, "Item discontinued". To avoid a lot of disappointed little girls, I bought charms locally for more $ out of my own pocket. I called back to formally cancel my order, and customer service said not to worry b/c the computer already showed the order as cancelled! FIVE DAYS AFTER MY ORDER...I get an e-mail saying the items have been discontinued. NEVER, EVER will I order from this company or any of its affiliates!"
"I placed an order with this company on 9/10.I was exited because this was my first purchase of scrapbooking items. I was also impressed of the deals and shipping. My order came to 62.50. I received my order promptly and was very happy. Well,that happiness soon ended when I checked my account and found out that I was charged twice!! Customer service was a freaking joke!I got several BS explanations and i could hardly understand these people. Of course i called my credit card company and I will receive a refund of the second unnecessary charge by the 21st. It's a shame that this company has not made an effort to contact me or refund my money. I will NEVER order from this company again. I'll pay extra on the products and pay shipping on a more reputable company. "
"I live in Switzerland but took the opportunity of one colleague going to the USA to place an order. I place the order with an online support staff. I received the confirmation of order in few mn after the order was placed.
However,when the order status said that my box was delivered, I phoned the hotel and there is no delivery at the hotel. I phoned again few days later, still no delivery. Then I contacted I contacted the online support and the person (another one) kept telling me to check with the neighbours and then come back after I explained that I live in Switzerland, another country, and cannot check with the neighbours and that it is their duty to do their possible to find out where it has been delivered, not mine. Then she said that she will check and send me an email. The day after. No email. This time I call (long distance call) the customer support and after re-explaining what happens, the person I had on the phone, a more caring one, said that according to the policy of the company she cannot re-imburse me but will send me a claim form.
In the meantime, my colleague phoned to say that the hotel found the box and that I do not have to worry.
So finally, all the time, the order was delivered but was lost in the hotel system."
"While they had some problems with my first order, this company has improved. On my second order everything went smoothely. They used to offer free shipping but that was an introductory offer when they first opened their [sic] doors, now they offer $4.95 flat rate and free shipping for orders over $100.00--still a pretty good shipping policy. They do have decent prices on some arts & crafts items but they also feature the same "20% Off (Enter Month Name Here) Only" sale made famous by their parent company, Ritz Camera. All in all, it's not a bad place to shop if your looking for good prices on arts & crafts items."
