"My daughter broke the screen on her laptop. Being a university student preparing for exams - timing couldn't be worse. I went to the big chain electronic store where I bought it carrying my extended warranty in hand. What a surprise! Not covered - 2-3 weeks to repair - $350. Did some googling found exactly what I needed on the ScreenCountry site. Placed my order and realized immediately I did not order a matte screen as intended. Connected with online chat and the "chat guy" said he would send something to the warehouse to get it corrected. I asked if I would get an updated invoice - he said his supervisor wasn't in yet but he would check - could I connect again later in the morning. I did just that and the second "chat guy" said it would indeed be taken care of. This was all before noon ... screen was shipped that afternoon and arrived the next day - less than 24 hours! Googled how to change the screen and being a rookie I still did it in minutes. Also received my updated invoice with a credit for the difference (matte screen was cheaper). ScreenCountry also sent an offer of $20 if I videoed and posted to youtube. That would be $20 - not a credit to put toward something else to buy. Was brave enough to change the screen myself (54 year old woman) not brave enough to video it. Their offer was obviously taken up by others which in the end helped me - the one I found was for the exact laptop model I had.
The "chat guys" were friendly, honest and efficient. Order process was fast and efficient and my error was corrected with no hassle or mistakes. Delivery was way faster than expected.
Saved a ton of money ... and my daughter had her laptop functioning again within a couple of days.
