$450 out the window

"I ordered three tanks and had to return one. The shipping company says it was delivered and provided proof. After a month of waiting for the company to "research" why I wasn't credited for the return they denied they received the item. Ultimately, they said to take it up with the shipping company and the time to file a claim with the shipping company had also elapsed. $450 lots but not forgotten. Most people were helpful trying to resolve the issue, but Callie S. was dismissive. "

So many issues

"I bought the Women's Aqualung package and I have had so many issues. The first time I tried to use the regulator the first stage had a big leak. I had to bring it in to have it repaired. Then when I tried to use it again the octopus was leaking and I had to cut my dive short. I also had to have that repaired. My dive computer will not connect to bluetooth so it's almost useless. I would not recommend buying from scuba.com. "

Great Service Great product

"Product is excellent- we love it but the size chart for the Henderson vest was a bit undersized so we had to exchange for a larger size, but the service at Scuba.com is excellent and they make it sooo easy. Either via email or by phone- THEY ANSWER THEIR PHONE WITH NO LONG WAITS! And tracking on the delivery is top level. I will use this company for all of my diving needs as long as they have what i am looking for! So far so good! "

Item missing from shipment

"I order a regulator set up and bcd for my brother to use on his honeymoon trip and when the package arrived it only had the reg set up with no bcd. I contacted customer service and initially they were very helpful. They planned to overnight the package so it would arrive in time for the trip and I told them to go ahead with the shipment. Over the course of a month I received three more emails asking for confirmation that I would pay for the extra taxes due to shipping location change. I responded to the email confirming once again that this was ok. I called customer service once more and was finally able to get the product shipped after almost two months. I voiced my displeasure as to how this error was handled but was simply told that they were sorry. I am a dive master and I use this site for personal dive gear but I also refer my customers to this site because in the past I have had great experiences. However this whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I no longer plan on using this site and will not recommend it to my customers."

Great Service/Great Advice

"Best mail order company I have used! The on line chats I had with Mizu and Colton provided excellent and accurate information. I was advised when my order was shipped, when to expect it, and asked if it arrived and in what condition. Prices are competitive. If I were 20 years younger I would probably order a complete Scuba outfit and sign up for some diving trips. Ho hum....to be young again. Great job Scuba!"

Fast delivery of the right parts.

"Got a battery replacement kit for my Suunto Viper. It arrived in 1.5 days. I got confirmation of my order, a notice when it shipped, and notice when it was delivered. Excellent!

Last time I took it into a shop to get the battery replaced. They cast a huge mystique over the process and charged accordingly.

It's simple. Watched the video, ordered the parts, and it took 3 minutes.

Do NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SCUBA.COM

"I placed my order 29 Nov; and entire set of diving gear for my son for Christmas. I ordered it almost a month in advance so everything would come in before Christmas. Well I didn't receive the final piece until 27 Dec. Scuba.com couldn't tell me where my order was half the time, and for one of the items I wasn't told it was on back order until the 23rd of Dec!! If I would have known that, I would have went somewhere else.
Do not buy anything then if want it within a months time frame.

Horrible customer service

"My Christmas delivery was never delivered. A case was opened with the delivery service. I have been given 3 different dates that this would be resolved and it still is not. I have asked for corporate complaint phone or email and no one responds with the info. I asked for a reshipment before Christmas and was told to wait 10 days. Then 10 business days. Now a month later still no answers or info on how to make a complaint.
