Bought two tickets - event canceled - been waiting 65 days for $408

"No phone number. Simply automated email reply from Lily. "Please contact us only once per issue."
It seems unfair that they keep my $408 this long. I'm really not impressed. Not even sure what I should do next. I'm only posting here because I do not know where else to vent my frustrations.

Do Not Buy Tickets during Pandemic

"Buyer Beware! Do not buy tickets from SeatGeek during the pandemic because if you are quarantined, sick with Covid-19, or want to sell your ticket(s), they make it impossible to get your money back. SeatGeek's sell option is very time consuming because of their delays and difficulty in reaching a person to help you do so. I purchased 4 tickets, got Covid-19 symptoms and wanted to sell. They delayed responding to my attempt to sell for so long until the date of the event occurred or had past. The email to contact them is worthless! When they do reply to your email it is a survey for how well the SeatGeek person who responded to your email, who has no authority to resolve your issue, has done. Very frustrating to contact them with email. They are using scammer techniques to keep your money during the pandemic. They will not give you a coupon code for a future event for replacement if your issue is not resolved. Beware!!!!!"

Do not use SeatGeek you’ll be sorry

My experience with SeatGeek it terrible, we purchased very expansive tickets for US OPEN 2021 Men and Women finale before immunization requirements and we wrote SeatGeek immediately to have refund because our kid isn’t vaccinated but they never respond or anything, such a shame of company like this… off course there is no phone to call ..Do not buy through them any tickets…Even we wrote email to one of the founders and also he ignored us as well… Viktor Cakaric

Total Scam

"Ordered tickets for a college football game. Received an email that was supposed to have a link to accept the tickets except there was no link. Contacted Seatgeek online and through their automated chat multiple times but got no help at all. Tried calling their support phone number and was on hold for over an hour, then dropped...TWICE! Now trying to get a refund and going through the same unresponsive, unreachable support. STAY AWAY FROM SEATGEEK."

DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR BUYER GUARANTEE!

"DO NOT BELEIVE THEIR GUARANTEE - "If we do not provide you tickets exactly as ordered we will replace tickets with comparable of better, or offer you a refund." They sent me incorrect tickets, I didn't want refund, as the event was in a few days and purchasing replacement tickets would cost me more. I wanted seat geek replacement of comparable tickets, as stated in their FRAUDULENT GUARANTEE. Called, they told me because they were backed up and event was in a few days, if I purchased nearly identical replacement tickets (which I did) they would send me voucher to cover the additional cost of said replacements after they received the transferred back incorrect tickets. It took them 4 days to accept the incorrect digitally transferred tickets I sent back, they waited till the day of event. They wouldn’t give me the promised adjustment cost of $143 for replacements. AND they wouldn't refund the incorrect tickets they sent, which I promptly sent back and never used. I called my credit card company and disputed. Was able to get refund on incorrect tickets because I transferred back before event date. But I couldn't dispute/get back the additional cost of replacement tickets. Was told by credit card company that any company can make any claim of guarantee - it means nothing in terms of legal transaction. Unless you have a specific document/receipt stating refund or adjustment due in the amount of...there's nothing cc card company can do. Seat geek ARE CHEATS. I think they purposely did not send me the correct tickets I originally purchased because price with promo code was extremely good. They sold them for more $ to someone else and had me a in position where I had to pay more for replacements. If they hadn't lied about planning to give me voucher for replacement tickets, I DEFINITELY would have purchased replacements elsewhere. They know their guarantee means nothing and tricked me into another higher $$ sale. NEVER BUY FROM SEAT GEEK!"

SeatGeek garbage customer service! - DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

"I was looking at a parking pass in the NEW Seatgeek app on my phone but the $56 price was a complete ripoff so I went to the Mets website and purchased a pass directly from them using my PC.

Later that evening I checked my email and was shocked to see an email from SeatGeek confirming my purchase of a parking pass!

Not sure what the heck happened but I DID NOT authorize this purchase. I emailed customer service and an agent by the name of JARVEY told me he could issue me a $55 promo code once I agreed to not use/resell the tickets in an email which I did.

And THAT is where ALL communication ended. I HAD been fully willing to accept a promo-code instead of a refund but at this point I've had it and will be leaving the disputed charge in place.

This isn't the first problem I've had with SeatGeek but it WILL be the last! They will never see another dime of my hard-earned money and I was stupid to give them another chance!!!!

They "Stole" money after applying a PromoCode

"When I went to purchase tickets for a dodger game, I used a promocode that was accepted in the check-out area. When I hit "Submit" it didn't process the promocode. After I noticed it, I immediately contacted Support and told them about the problem. They first acted clueless about it. Then when I sent them a more detailed email about it to they would fully understand what went wrong and I asked for a refund so that I can process the payment again with the promocode attached to it.. They stopped replying to me. They just seemed to refused to help me in this matter. They just scammed me out of extra money."

"I received my Mets tickets JUST in time for the game BUT this place doesn't even have a customer service phone number! If I had problems of any kind I would have been out of luck.

DO NOT under any circumstances buy tickets from Seatgeek ... they're one SMALL step from being scammers.

TWO YEARS

"My event is rescheduled for TWO years from the date. At this point I want a refund. I was told if I transferred my tickets to them, I could get a refund. Then I get an email that it is a credit, not a refund! I have a year to use it. I would never do business with this company ever again, so I truly don’t want a credit. Reschedule is reschedule, not two years from the date. And second reschedule…. That’s a cancellation and new bookings…. Shady people. "

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND LAST MINUTE EXPERIENCE

"I bought tickets a month ago from SeatGeek. The night before the event, I received an email saying that the ticket transfer was cancelled. Then 2 hours later, the tickets were transferred. In that 2 hours I bought more tickets from someone else for a premium price. When I asked for a refund from SeatGeek, I was refused based on the fact that they said the tickets were transferred to me. So I was supposed to wait around AFTER I got an email saying my order was cancelled? Do NOT use this service. You will wait until the very last minute to get your tickets, then you may or may not get them."

I lost $620 dollars, no refund for Roger waters postponment for 2021 sometime, Lost my job Covid *19 Terrible Co, NEVER USE!!!!!

"I requested a refund due to Covid 19, plus I lost my job, and the event, Roger Waters, is not planed for another year or more and had been postoned, you people don't realize that this is not a normal situation of circumstances and your normal policy is no refunds, all sales are final, you should do the right thing considering these unprecedented times and give refunds to people who request them. I am out $620.60 that I can not afford right now, and to hold on and wait for a concert that is going to maybe happen in a year and a half, when I am trying to pay my mortgage and bills with no income. MARK MY WORDS , I will never use your business again and I will tell everyone forever what you did to me during the Covid 19 outbreak, and I meet a lot of people in my business that I have owned for 30 years. P.S. I am posting this on every review site out there for as long as it takes!
