"I was pretty excited to use seatgeek. A bunch of podcasts that I listen to had promotions on so I thought I'd give it a try for going to a raptors game.

I never did figure out how to enter the promo code or get the rebate/credit of $20.

Either way, I found the best deal available, bought the tickets and was happy to get them a bit cheaper than the box office...except that the prices were all in US dollars. I'm Canadian and buying in Canada. It never specifically mentioned that they were in US dollars. It wasn't until I got my credit card bill that I realized that with the exchange rate I was actually paying more money than I would have had I simply gone through the box office. Pretty disappointing and kinda defeated the purpose. "

"I'm not sure exactly how the whole relationship between seat geek, "ticket network" and the venue works exactly, but something was definitely wrong with my order.
My original order had a slightly wrong billing address so the order declined. I promptly contacted the seller to fix the error and thought everything was fine. Apparently not, the seller never corrected the issue and then resold my tickets to the sold out show I was supposed to attend. Ended up going through stub hub. "
