"Have been searching for some Faux Wood blinds for a window group in our living room. "Thank God I only ordered two blinds. They arrived, I installed one and am shocked how cheap and sloppy the quality of the bamboo blinds. I wrote a warranty claim because you can not get ahold of anyone for help.
The top down bottom up mechanism sticks out like a sore thumb when standing outside. The cut side edges looks like a beaver chewed on them. There are staples showing when you use the top down option.
I got a response that they will not warranty the blinds because of color difference. I didn’t even say about color difference. It seems like they don’t want to help or cover any problems. I tried calling them twice, on hold for half an hour each time, nobody answers. Recorded voice finally came on to say they are busy and press 1 for a call back and you won’t lose your place in line. They never called back.Terrible company, do not trust or buy from them.
Update:
Select blinds response was that there is nothing wrong with blinds, but we can give you a discount if you want to order replacement blinds. (Why would I trust them again).
They might say they are an American Company but right on the blind backer, it says made in China.
We ended up buying a new set of blinds from Blinds.com. They are really good quality and look great. We should have gone with them in the first place.
Now we are going to finish buying 16 more blinds for our new home from Blinds.com
