"I ordered a number of blinds from this company. Most of them were exactly what I wanted and ordered. The blinds that I ordered for my living room and bedroom were a color called Eggnog. I was sent Sandstorm! I sent them pictures and showed them and the response i received was because I did not order a SAMPLE before ordering the blind that this is not covered under return policy! Are you kidding me?
I was sent the WRONG blinds. Not even close to what I ordered and they will not fix this.
I sent them the pictures to show them that they were not the correct blinds and NOTHING!
I spent thousands of dollars on this order and I should not be stuck with a product that I did not order.

"My dealings with SelectBlinds has been extremely frustrating and I will never order from them again, and strongly caution anyone from ordering from them. I never normally write reviews but I'm so upset I wanted to share my experience so others can avoid the same mistake.
I ordered 2 custom roman blinds. When they arrived a month later (which is really the only good part of the experience - they arrived on time), they came with the wrong hardware and had holes drilled at an angle which wouldn't allow the hardware (even if it were correct) to attach properly. The blinds and hardware did not at all match the instructions sent with the blinds nor on the website. I even had a professional try to install them and he confirmed there was no way to install them as made and with the parts provided.
I tried calling several times. No one answers the phone. There is a callback option and I had one returned phone call but the person answering wasn't able to help me and suggested emailing all the information. I sent a very detailed email with photos explaining the problem, send a reminder email that I hadn't heard, and got a brief response 1 week later that the blinds were fine as they were. I then wrote a reply detailing why this was preposterous with more photos, and then never heard back. Finally I had to call Visa and file a dispute through them. I'm so angry because I spent a lot of money and the customer service has been atrocious.
I would also like to add that they falsely advertise. I have looked almost daily at their website, and the supposed 50-55% off sales that are just for a particular weekend or event are actually the standard prices because they never really change. So there's no sale at all. It's basically the same price all the time.
Very disappointed.

"We are appalled by the quality of the blind we ordered. There is a full-length, very visible seam running through the blind right at eye level which has holes in it!! I have never ever seen blinds that poorly done. I could have done a better job patching 2 pieces of fabric myself. And if that's what I wanted to do, I sure wouldn't have gone the "custom" way paid over CAD 200. Customer Service response? "And just to mention that it is clearly written on the website that there is a seam on all blinds of 72" and above." No responsibility at all for how badly the product turned out, no talk of offering anything. Absolutely disgraceful."
