To make it worth your while you need so many points. With Hilton, their goal is to get you to that "Elite" status. Of course it costs you. We decided in 2019 that we were done. Maintenance fees just kept getting higher and higher. We did not want to burden our children with it when we pass on either. I contacted the resale company and they explained how it all worked. We paid our fee and up on the resale market it went. Eventually we also had Hilton list it on their resale market. I had about given up when we were contacted about an offer. We accepted it and from there everything went smoothly. All paperwork was signed online except the final deed transfer which had to be notarized and mailed back. We were kept informed during the process and received our proceeds in a timely manner. We both breathed a sigh of relief to be done with it all. Give it a shot if you have paid off your timeshare and you want to sell and make something back rather then just walking away. "
