"I've been attempting to contact ANYONE there for several months about an Xserve G5 Server that was paid for but NOT delivered for more than a year. I have specific names (MIKE MATAR and SAMI). Neither of them have replied to me either via email or phone. We paid for (5), and they sent (3), then sent several that were NOT the specs we needed. Then they sent a 4th one that was marginal. We have been owed one more server since January 2015! They refuse to respond to emails and noone seems to be at their phones because I keep getting hold music regardless of which dept. option I select. They are completely unprofessional and negligent in their business practices. My next step is legal action..............."
"I checked with customer service to confirm part was in stock. we placed an order, then waited. After nearly a week, we contacted them for a tracking number. They said they were waiting for a backorder and would ship soon. Two more days and no tracking number. Then they stopped returning emails. This sounds like the standard operating method. I wish I had seen this site before ordering.
Part was shipped after calling to cancel order. Item arrived missing components from their "tested" board. Now we are testing to see how the 30-day return guarantee works...
Wish I could give less than 1 star."
"I received e-mail that said it shipped on 4/9, but tracking says they have not received the items from shipper. i called today, chose customer service and after a while it said voice mail was nearly full and to call back, then hung up. i called again and chose a different option, got some guy who said hello twice and hung up. Called back again and chose purchasing this time (they always want to sell something so they answer) and the guy I talked to looked up the order. He said one of the two parts was on back order and might show up today. It's 4/16 today, so they lied when they said they shipped the part and didn't contact me to say the part was on back order. I asked him to cancel my order and refund my payment.
Do not do business with this company!

"We contacted them to purchase a CrouseHindes Safety Switch. Before we ordered it we asked them to send us a picture. Sammy also told us they had 4 units in stock. They copied a picture off of Ebay and sent us that picture. When informed them that they had copied the picture off ebay, they then purchased the 2 parts right out from under us from ebay, and we were forced to purchase from them.
When the parts arrived, they had only shipped 2 units, even though we paid for 4 units. Now they will not answer or return our calls or emails. Do not purchase from this company"
"I found the what seemed to be very hard to find mother board I needed on their site and it said it was in stock. So after waiting a week for the tracking info to come through I called. They said it was on back order. Fast forward another week and a half and it gets here.
They sent me another motherboard that was older and cost about $100 less then the one I ordered.
Update: I spoke to someone who asked me to send a photo of the mother board I got to them. After having done so they said it was the one I ordered then they stopped responding to me after I sent a screen cap of the web page I ordered the motherboard from to show it wasn't.
I called in and got in touch with someone else from the company who saw that it wasn't the right motherboard and we started the return on it. The motherboard made it back to them 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting to hear anything from them as my calls keep going to a full voice mail box.
Update 4/17/2014:
I was informed today that I would be getting an email with a tracking number because the correct motherboard has been shipped. I have not gotten said email but I am still hoping for the best."
"found the necessary item on their website. I then called on the telephone to verify that the item was in stock so I immediately ordered it. # days later I received an email saying my order was being cancelled because the item was OUT OF STOCK! Cool huh?"
"Very good service and customer support. "
"As the Senior Vice President of IT Operations, I will say Server Parts Warehouse is absolutely the worst Vendor I have ever dealt with.
We experienced a critical server outage and ordered a controller from Server Parts Warehouse. We ordered on Thursday afternoon and paid for next day air which was supposed to arrive at 10:30am on Friday. On Friday morning the controller did not arrive. The Warehouse supervisor LIED to my staff and said he tried to contact us because we missed the shipping cut off. After multiple calls to the supervisor to obtain an accurate tracking number (the one we were given never worked), I was informed that the package was not sent via UPS but rather, he changed the Carrier to UPSP Express so we could get the package on Saturday. Again, this was a LIE. Of course I escalated to the highest levels of management which was a dead end. When I finally got a real tracking number, I discovered the package was sent USPS Priority 2 Day Mail. We did not get the package on Saturday, as I suspected. The controller actually arrived Monday evening.
Overall, we experienced 4 days of down time whereby an entire business division could not work. A bad situation became much worse because this vendor lied to us. I have been in technology in Orange County for close to 20 years and have an extended network to colleagues. I assure you, I will not hesitate to inform said colleagues of this terrible experience and the dishonest conduct exhibited by this Vendor.

"Really bad service, customer service said they had part in stock. I placed order and was very clear I needed part shipped next day, I also paid for over night shipping. The next day I follow up to make sure part was shipped, customer service said no but it would go out that day. Next day guess what, no part so I called, I was told part would not ship for 3-4 more business days,12 days later and four phone calls the part still has not shipped, but thats ok because customer service said it would ship in the next 3-4 business day. I got the part from a different supplier next day as promised. True I paid a little more for the part from different supplier, but being down for 12 days cost hundreds of times more."
"The horror stories below, sadly, are the tip of the iceberg. My nightmares began when I order an "in stock" item (as indicated by their website)to be delivered 3-Day Express. A couple days after placing my on-line transaction I had not received shipping/tracking confirmation. I contacted Customer Service and was informed the item was "Backordered". I asked to cancel my order, and was promptly met with: "The item will be shipping today." The following day I had still had not received any tracking information, and called again. Again, I was presented with the phrase: "The item has shipped". Yet again, interestingly, they could not provide me any tracking information, and I instructed them to cancel the order. Suspecting dubious business practices, I contacted my payment/financial institution for help to dispute and reverse the charges. The day after contacting the financial institution, the item (which is now canceled) was shipped, via Ground (in lieu of 3-Day Express). While the (canceled) item is in transit, I received an email threatening legal action, alleging fraud, purporting I had not contacted Server Parts Warehouse prior filing a claim with my financial institution. (Forunately, when I greeted the delivery person I simply said: "Return the item to the sender"; having not signed, and therefore not in possession, ultimately devoid of fraudulent allegations.) This fiasco is a product of: misrepresentation of inventory; delayed service(s); deplorable communication practices, within their own company and to their customers; and all-around juvenile conduct. In summary: Caveat Emptor"
"I've sent numerous emails to their customer support and have not received a single response after 2 weeks. Also, if you try calling into their "customer support," their phone system will eventually respond with "mailbox full"...that should tell you all you need to know about them."
"I placed an order for 2 Murr switch power supplies. I was charged for both on my credit card and only received one. Other was on back order. I deal with many companies and have never been billed for something that is on back order. The first one was a new unit, which we installed and then it failed, as far as we were concerned. I requested a date of shipment on the second one and was told it was on back order. I had to call several times to get another one because we were down. I received an used one that was not even useable. After over 30 days of calling twice a day I have finally received a return receipt code for my credit card and not even the full amount. It was minus the shipping charges. Don't forget I had to ship them both back at my own expense. This company is a joke. NO customer service and they will give you the run around. They did not provide what I had purchased, or what I thought I was purchasing."
"I ordered a motherboard that was described as "NEW in the box, NOT A REFURB". It arrived in a bubble wrap mail pouch with a driver CD. I emailed them back and said, "This isn't new and all the accessories are missing." They said it was new but the accesories were not included. Huh? I guess they didn't read thier own decsription. So I agreed to receive a discount as long as they sent the I/O panel. They agreed but it arrived bent and banged up. I got fed up and asked for a refund so they supplied instruction on how "I" could ship it back (and pay for the shipping). I think their MO is to push people until they give up or don't feel like dealing with it. Buyer beware!"
"11/3/2012 8:59 PM CST - I buy 8 switches online and pay to have them overnighted. Since is Saturday, I expect delivery on 11/6/2012.
11/6/2012 12:44 PM CST - I call serverpartswarehouse.com and ask them if they can give me a status on my order. They say that the order was canceled because the didn't have the stock. They said that an email was sent to me informing me of this. I searched through my emails and found no such notification. I even checked my spam filter. They then sent me an email to inform me of this while I was on the phone with them. I asked them to forward me the original email that they claimed to have sent me and the guy on the phone said he would be glad to get that for me. I said, no - I want it forwarded now because I didn't believe it ever existed. He said he couldn't do that. I then told him I guessed that I would not be doing business with him again and his reply was "okay".
Okay, then. What a nightmare."
"I purchased a used pex2pci4 for $149. Two days after the sale, I received an email that the item was out of stock. I went back to the site and not only was my item not out of stock, but was now listed for $549! When I called and asked them why the discrepancy in the items availability and price, The owner Mike said in no certain terms was he going sell me the item for the incorrectly listed price and to go #$@! myself and hung up."
