"I ordered a pair of RayBan polarized sunglasses from Shadesdaddy and they arrived quickly, in less than two weeks (I live in Dubai).

The pair that arrived were exactly as expected and authentic. The same pair of glasses (RB 3343) retailed at local Dubai stores for the equivalent of $296!!! ....vs $139 on your website + $12 international shipping fee.

It's also worth mentioning that as an international shipment, some websites don't ship internationally. In the case where they accept international orders, I found that some initially advertised a lower price, until you add their more expensive shipping options resulting in a more expensive total cost or at best a comparable total price to shadesdaddy. I felt the process was cleaner and more transparent at shadesdaddy i.e. more cost of shipping options (and cheaper options) and not having to be referred to a "partner" 3rd party (iShopUSA) for international shipments.

Also, I thought it was quite astute to include invoices showing the cost at $60 and the items as "gift" for customs purposes, just in case there were any hold ups at customs. As a result, there were no import charges.

I'd definitely refer shadesdaddy to a friend! and next time I'm looking for a pair I'll try some styles I like in a store and then check out Shadesdaddy to actually buy them.

"Read the mixed reviews and decided to risk $100 for ray ban Jackie ohh iii 601/8G. The processing was fast, glasses came fast too. I am not entirely sure if the glasses are genuine though. Thought the glasses were authentic initially, but after comparing a few sites on authentic Ray Ban checks and then comparing the picture on the official Ray Ban site, something seems to be not right. The details printed on the inside of the earpiece is slightly faded. There is no recycle logo on the box, but the semi permanent sticker is there. There is the edged RB logo on the right lens near the hinge, mine is slightly below the hinge, but the sites say should be above the hinge. The sites say the info card stock and box should be top quality, the paper quality of my order doesn't look that awesome, but could just be me being picky. Umm... so either sites are inaccurate or mine is not geniune or mine geniune with really minor defects."

"Shopping at ShadesDaddy.com was the worst consumer experience in my life. I placed the order for two pairs of D&G sunglasses (8083, 3058) on 08/01/2011. Both pairs were marked as being in stock, I read the other shoppers feedback and felt secure about placing my order with them. A week after I received an email saying that the item I have ordered was currently backordered and I was offered a full refund. I tried to find out which one was backordered being prepared to change the color, but the ShadesDaddy consumer support was absolutely unhelpful and kept sending me generic emails instead of being specific and giving me the information I was after. I could not use the landline and talk to the operator as I live in New Zealand. The only reason I picked this company was $12.00 P&H to my country, big mistake. I was told that they need to contact the manufacturer (?), which surprised me greatly as both pairs are not from the current range. Surprisingly, for the whole period of our communication no-one changed the status of the sunglasses for "currently unavailable" on their website. I had an impression that ShadesDaddy is one of the companies that holds the money and probably invests them for a short period of time while feeding the customers with irrelevant information about their orders. I did not pay a huge amount of money (USA $196.30), but all those unfinished orders do add up, isn't? I could not even look up my order status as my account was mysteriously erased and the computer did not recognized my email address. After 2 weeks of waiting I cancelled the order and asked for a full refund. It took the money 5 days to re-appear on my account and I obviously lost some due to difference in conversion rate. I would NOT recommend anyone to use ShadesDaddy services. I then bought both pairs on ebay.com, same price, fast services and consumer protection, a little bit more for P&H, but at least I got them."
