"They shipped the weather radio with incorrect address e-mailed three or four time finally was e-mailed back they had changed the address never showed up. Called customer service was told they would ship a replacement item never gotten a tracking number or the replacement item. "

Christmas pillows

"I ordered two Christmas pillows for grandchildren on November 3 2021. Today is 12/26 Still no pillows.
I was told they would arrive in late nMovember (they were out of stock). I received another letter that it would now be December 15. Then I received a letter that it would be Decemer 27. (By this time my grandchildren were losing faith in their grandfather). I them received an Email that It arrived December
16 at their location and they would ship it out. They sent it out REGULAR Fedex. I was upset that after all the waiting you think that they would ship it over night or 2nd day in order to receive it to give it out before Christmas time. I AM STILL WAITING TO RECEIVE IT.

Awful experience

"Ordered a Christmas gift on Dec 11,2020 (in the year of shipping disaters). Waited weeks knowing shipping was a mess. Called 1/3/21. Was told that FedEx delivered it to the wrong address and it was sent back to the distribution center. They could not explain why I was not notified, it was not immediately sent back out to me or refunded. I was told they would reship it and it would arrive in 1 to 2 weeks. On 1/25 still no package. Called back. It was never sent out nor was anything written in the computer. Melissa in customer service kept talking over me and implying that because I did not know the name of who I spoke with that it didn't happen. I canceled the order and not trusting them to follow through on the refund (given their track record) disputed my PayPal payment too. The degree if incompetence displayed was unbelievable. "

CUSTOMER SERVICE LIARS

"CUSTOMER SERVICE LIARS....
Ordered a gift for grandsons. Product was listed "In stock / ships with-in 2-days". Two weeks later, still no gift or shipping information. Called four times with ONE HOUR WAIT TIMES, promised it would ship, has shipped, don't know why is has not shipped, etc. I was lied to continuously. Make other gift plans, as this company cannot meet your orders, but certainly can TAKE YOUR MONEY!

Can I Rate It A ZERO

"Purchased 2 items. One I just didn't like. The other one was a piece of Junk. Both items in the same order. Both items on the same receipt. SENT SEPARATELY. The item I didn't like easily went thru the return system. Shipping label printed. Sent. Done! The other item is still sitting in my sitting room. The Sharper Image System CAN NOT, is UNABLE TO, do TWO RETURNS from the same order. According to the THREE representatives I spoke to, there was a system upgrade and I need to WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO CALL ME BACK. The last call was 8 days ago. The 2nd Representative claimed she sent a label for the 2nd item. NOTHING RECEIVED. The (kind sounding) 3rd Representative sent a label for the item already returned. Once I told her it was the same, she reiterated someone would call back. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as well. THIS IS RIDICULOUS."

From Bad to Worse..................

" Have not purchased from them for some time which is not good (only) because I had forgotten (why) I quit. There was no confirmation to my near $300 order (for days) which is where most of us then get the order number, etc. Since their e-mail contact only sent confirmation of (sending) my e-mail inquiry (but no response to inquiry) I had to call and all they have on their 'automated' system is a (maybe) response to the order number (I never got), therefore no response, NO customer service.
Spoke to a order taker (finally) after (very curiously) 3 calls were inaudible and had to hang up. This order taker guy who sounded like a robot responded as such, "you will have to call customer service (only) open until 6:00 PM EST, bla blaa blaa ........." (Imagine such a 'job'!). (Of coarse) 'now' I remember. They were already on shaky ground long before Covid-19 and now most likely failing. Too bad, nice catalog, (looks like) worthy products,... BUT"!!! Wish I had checked out the newer reviews. ALL BAD !!!

Don't stand behind their products at all!

"Ordered cordless heat wrap for my.shoulder and battery died in 4 months, called customer service they didn't offer a new battery only 10% off. Never shopping there again, products are inferior and all rebranded from other countries, they don't make any products. "

Zero customer Service

"I ordered an item, paid $12.95 for next day delivery. The next day I received an email saying it would arrive after Christmas, not the next day. I emailed right away and told them to cancel my order. I emailed the next day to make sure they got my first email. Then the item arrived and I immediately emailed that I didn't need the item, as I had said in my original email, I had already purchased another one. Now, 8 days later, nobody has gotten back to me regarding my 4 emails. My complaint is that I paid the extra to get my item on time and now that I want to return it, I am out $22.01 and will only receive $48.47 of the purchase amount back, all due to the company's error. I will not get the next day air $ back, I have to pay $7.95 shipping to return the item. If it had just said that the item would not arrive on time I wouldn't have ordered the item and I wouldn't be out $22.01. I have owned many business' over the past 40 years and company's like this are what give retail a bad name!"

Disappointed!

"So I purchased 3 items 2 were together, I ended up ordering something later to take advantage of the 25 buck GC. That's how they get you, Since they were 2 separate orders they told me I had to pay 2 separate shipping fees, OK, the lady was nice to refund the more expensive of the 2. The email you receive gives the amount after fees. They processed it the same day FedEx delivered it, instead of me getting 120 credit to PayPal, I received partial payment of $80. I'm so ****. They do offer free shipping but you have to be careful filling out return form because they have it so if you click free shipping you get your refund in credit instead of original payment type. SO BEWARE, I will stick with online and returns in store for full refund. "

Company will not stand behind it's products.

"My son got the Dx-1 Drone for Christmas and it never worked properly. After trying everything we contacted the company and got the run around. We showed them the receipt from an ebay seller and they will not honor any warranty from any other reseller."

HORRIBLE RIP OFF.

"I bought a SUPER EXPENSIVE racing game and it was the worst junk ever. Total rip off my Chicago Gaming.

Sharper gave me a $476 promotional voucher and never told me it expired.

After finding it expired Sharper Image said, TOUGH LUCK ON YOUR $476, WE WON'T GIVE YOU A DIME, SEE YOU.

This is the worst company. I GOT RIPPED OFF FOR OVER $2000...…...

Fraudulent Offers

"I purchased some items from Sharper Image recently because they were offering a $20.00 cash back offer as well as a $25.00 gift certificate on future orders. I have spent hours online and by phone trying to order merchandise and to redeem the cash back offer and gift certificate. On two occasions, I have talked to more than one customer service representative and a supervisor. For some unknown reason the offers "don't work" and there are error messages. Even the supervisor cannot override anything and she cannot offer me a discount of any kind. I was asked to call back again and talk to customer service. I am refusing to do this. I am beyond annoyed that the company cannot honor their promises to customers. I told them I am ordering my items from Amazon because there are no games!!!"

Usually pretty good stuff

"I've had a mixed experience with Sharper Image. I've bought their products for many years and I remember when they used to have a store at the mall in my area. Since they went online-only I've found it to be a mixed bag. For example, I bought a lighted magnifying mirror and was very disappointed in the quality. It wasn't made very well, and the description wasn't very accurate. I really had to jump through some hoops to get a refund from them for the product.

But in general I find that their products are pretty good. They certainly carry a lot of things that you don't find anywhere else!

Will not refund on a defective item

"I ordered a pricey light for use when we need extra light...like in the pantry. We haven't had this but short of two months and it's impossible to turn the light on. The on/off button just stopped working. Sharper Image said this was "outside the return window", yet it had not been 60 days when I tried to return it. Will never order from them again."
