"It's a great DIY shed.
However, before you start putting any pieces together make sure the plastic (that should be removed at the factory) has indeed been removed.
There were at least 4 stages where this was a huge pain in the ****.
1. The floor. I'm trying to slide and pop the corner in. Low and behold, the plastic cutout isn't truly cut out.
2. Attaching the long metal door pieces to the doors. Again, the plastic wasn't cut out.
3. The 4 round floor pieces that the metal door hinges slide into. Again, the plastic wasn't cut out. So trying to slide the cotter pin was impossible in the moment and had to take out all four pieces.
4. Attaching the door handles, the screws need to go in the exact correct angle or the screws won't catch.


Last complaint. The instructions that came with the shed had the incorrect letters denoted to the incorrect corners for a left hand side door. So, I had to take all of the corners off at one point and figure out which were which.

I built this alone. Two people would make things easier as they suggest.

"The kit was shipped by roadway express truck and arrived undamaged. All of the materials were properly cut and easily identified using the instruction manual. More than an adequate quantity of each size nail and screw came in clearly marked plastic bags. I built the base/floor from another kit and changed the size of the shed to be approximately 6'x8'. I built it using the supplied gable ends and shortened the other two walls, adjusting things as necessary to the new dimensions.

I found the instruction manual to be logical and more than adequate to guide you through the construction. I prefabricated the wall sub components (minus one side panel each) on the floor of my garage to ensure things were level. Everything went together quite easily on the base and through putting on the roof panels.

A power screwdriver/drill is essential due to the large number of screws. I would also recommend using two carpenter's friction clamps to help hold various pieces in place while you put in the first screws, etc., particularly on some of the trim pieces. They allow one person to do a lot of the work by themselves.

I would recommend the manufacturer of this kit (Backyard Products, LLC) make it in a 6'x8' size with narrower gable ends instead of shortening the side walls."

I then did a review of their customer service and it came back good so I decided to go with them.
