"DO NOT SHOP AT SHOES DOT COM!!! I requested expedited shipping, that I paid for. 2-3 business days expedited shipping. It took them over 3 weeks to "process" the shoes internally and then ship them. It took almost 4 weeks to get them and every other vendor would get them to me in 2-3 business days. Since the shoes were so late, I was already on vacation and could not use them on the trip. Since I could not use them, I wanted to return them. They charge a restocking fee PER SHOE. Their time is precious, yours it no. Do not give this company ANY MONEY, they are rude, and have hidden fees and late delivery. "
"The ONE TIME I didn't do a background review of a company and it's now become my daily burden to bear. I ordered a pair of Saucony running shoes with shoes.com because Saucony provides them with exclusive colors. As has been written by others, upon ordering you are told that you will get a follow up email in 1-5 business days to tell you when they will ship. But, if you try to cancel the order after a few days that only compounds the problem since then it takes 1-2 business days to tell you if they can even do that since the order still "in process" after a week. Saucony, to their embarrassment, will take no responsibility for their role in distributing exclusive product through this retailer. Never use this company, you've been warned."
"I ordered a pair or sandals and when I got them I tried them on. I walked across my living room floor twice. They hurt my feet so I put them back in the box and returned them. Several weeks later they sent them back saying shoes worn soles scuffed unable to resell. Don't ever buy from them. They wont accept returns and refund your money. All I did was put them on and walk across the floor twice. It was impossible to have scuffed them up. I will never buy anything from them again."
"I bought 4 pairs of Shoes on May 31st 2018 / Company shipped to wrong address, told Me it was my fault. 1 agent, says Don’t worry, we will cancel order and refund money. Happened to be checking my Account on Saturday the 16th, noticed there was never any refund. I called Company on Monday, they told me they were not going to refund money, they told me I had to deal w UPS / UPS told Me, the company has to call us not you (the recipient) 3 Days and still No satisfaction. I call Shoes.com who is supposedly in Charlestown Mass and they all sound like they’re from another country. 10 phone calls and Not 1 person who doesn’t have an accent. I know the area very well, they are prodomently Irish not people from India etc. contacted BBB and basically I’m out $160.92 / Never again, I see why they have Low prices. They’re Theives and Scammers "
"It took 8 people to talk to meand each and every one was uneducated trying to explain me thats shipping and billing adress should be the same. Because thier system shiws that my card issued in different state
Dont they consider that people are moving out of state sometimes? All are dumb...alll"
"NEW policies include a $6.95 restocking fee PER ITEM, but they don't inform you their policies have changed since you ordered last. TINY print at bottom indicates there will be a restocking fee and they think that is fair notice of this change. Horrific customer service where the 'manager' called 3x from a PRIVATE CALLER number and hung up when I answered the first time, left a voice mail when I didn't answer the second time, and hung up again when I answered the third time. Magically, after I called them out on this shenanigans, he called from a business number. Additionally I ordered two identical pairs of shoes - same size, same color, same everything...only one pair fits so I said I'd like the $6.95 fee waived as I would have kept both pairs but one is defective. Manager states that it is 'cut differently' but not defective!!! Shouldn't an identical pair fit the same unless it is sized wrong or otherwise defective? Not according to shoes.com. Save your money and buy from Zappos they are truly a better company that takes care of the customer without shady deception. "
"not good quality, found the site ------ GreatMall6.ru ------ is top shoes but accept price."
"Slow order processing. Horrible customer service. Stay away! "
"They have the very worst shipping on the internet. I will be old and grey before I get my order. NEVER AGAIN!!!"
"Very poor Customer Service. If you make an order they will not change or cancell it even if you attempt it right away.
I was trying to change my order before it shipped, and billed and they would'nt allow that either. Shipping was extremely slow, and to return product there was a $6 restock fee. "
"I bought a pair of ORTHOFEET Women's Two-Way Strap (Fisherman) Sandal in size 8B and I asked if it ran True-To-Size and Mario told me YES. WHEN I got the shoes I wore them around the house but they didn't hurt so I wore them outside once and my toes on both feet were rubbing against the front of the shoe so they WERE NOT TRUE-TO-SIZE and I was given the WRONG INFORMATION as I was told that the Manufacturer said they ran true-to-size! Also they were painful to walk in especially for my left foot and caused a PAINFUL BLISTER on my left foot Bunion! I had to buy a gel Bunion Protector so I could walk in them and I have to get BOTH SHOES STRETCHED! I expected an expensive walking shoe like this to be comfortable but it is NOT a comfortable walking shoe and I will NOT waste my money again on this brand! I'll buy Drew and Propet BEFORE I buy this brand again! SHOES.COM SHOULD GET THEIR FACTS STRAIGHT WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND TELL THE CUSTOMER THE RIGHT INFORMATION BEFORE THEY sell the WRONG SIZE and cause a LOT OF INCONVENIENCE for their customers! Now I have to live with these shoes and PAY to make them comfortable! I HOPE! A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!"
"I was in the middle of exchanging of one pair of boots for another on Shoes.com website. I entered my VISA card number and hit "Continue". A sign popped up telling me to call Customer Service and gives the number (1-***-***-****). I call, but before I can talk to anyone an "Order Confirmation" email arrives from Shoes.com. I get a customer rep who is pleasant but refuses to give her name. I explain the situation and I ask her to reverse the order. She says she can't do that because there is no order. I tell her that I can give her the order number that just arrived, and, oh yes, an email alert from VISA showing the transaction. She's not interested. The dialog between us is not acrimonious, but she refuses to do anything because as far as she's concerned no order has been placed. After we hang up, Shoes.com CHARGES ME AGAIN for the nonexistent order, even sending another "Order Confirmation" with the same order number as the first. I call VISA, they confirm both the charges have been made to my card, so we put a temporary block on my VISA card. This will take some sorting out!"
"I'll make sure I'll never buy with these people"
"Bought shoes. Horribly missized. An inch longer than my foot. Tried to return for a refund. Shoes.com offers free returns, right? No return label. You can see a UPS tracking number, but return label was not sent. Spoke to three different customer service reps. All said a label would be sent in an hour. Checked SPAM everytime. Asked them to send a PDF with a label. Never did. They said they snail mailed out a label, (which would conveniently arrive after their 60 day return window.) Since it was close to the 60 day return window, I asked for the RMA # and return address and mailed them back myself. I'm sure they will try to deny my return, even though their policy says, "must be sent back within 60 days" and I am "sending back" within 60 days. If they surprise me, I will update this review.
On the plus side, their customer service was responsive, although ineffective.
For the record, if they try to pull the same game on you, send your return back, using your original order #:

"Bought a pair of shoes. Put them on. Wore them to work. 2.5 hours later the tread fell off. Ok. Not their fault. They didn't make the shoe. But when I called and wanted to exchange, the guy told me that he could only return (and charge me 6.95 to do so) and that if I wanted a new pair, I would have to place another order. Bought these shoes for work. Kinda need them. Bought them with the intention of actually USING them, so shipping them back without a replacement pair isnt really an option. Bleh."
