Worst online shopping experience ever!

"Alas. I didn't do my research--there are many negative reviews of Shoes.com available, but I didn't search before I bought. Paid for a pair of shoes--2 weeks later I received a package--wrong size, wrong color, wrong brand. Called customer service, got a return ticket, shipped them back. I was told the company would wave the $6.95 restocking fee and refund my money. Two weeks and I am still waiting for my refund. The only way to get the correct shoes was to reorder and pay again. Foolishly I did. 2nd order came--wrong brand, wrong size, wrong color. Same drill-I have to ship the shoes back and wait for my refund. A month later and Shoes. com has nearly $200 of my money and I still have no shoes. Company customer service rep didn't seem at all surprised that I was having problems and offered me the same 30% sale price that was on their website if I were foolish enough to try a 3rd time. The moral of the story--do your research before you buy--this company has a terrible online reputation. "

Absolutely horrible Customer Service

"I purchased boots and then recieved an email stating "don't let this deal pass up". Went to my account and nothing showed so I ordered boots again. Next day my account showed two pair purchased. I called immediately and they said boots in process of being shipped however they were not shipped for another 10 days. I said I didn't want to pay for restock or return ship for their software error. I was told that it was my error and my problem. The guy was so incredilby rude. I sent the boots back a month ago. On the 28th of Dec I called once again they said they rec'd boots and credit would show in a few days. Here it is on the 11th of Jan and I just got off the phone with them again with another excuse of why they haven't processed and will take another 48 hours.

Absolutely will never ever buy from this terrible company again.

RIP OFF!

"Ordered a pair of shoes I'm very familiar with - and absolutely know what sizes I wear from this brand.
When my package arrived I was horrified. Shoes were too small and there was damage in the front of one so I immediately repackaged and returned according to shoes.com website instructions.
My refund was $10+ less than I paid! They kept restocking fees, taxes, and shipping. "Free shipping and returns" my ****. Will never do business with shoes.com again and you shouldn't either.

I'd give minus 5 if I could

"Stay away from here!!! Initially they denied having an order. Then, after reading reviews here, I had a very bad feeling they'd suddenly have one after I'd ordered elsewhere. I notified them that I didn't have an order, and not to send anything. 6 days later, I get an email, "Yay, your order has shipped." Again, I notified them I had no order. Also, the shows had not yet been shipped as per UPS. They were prepared to be. Despite this, they shipped them. I contacted UPS and they told me to have the company intercept the shipment, as they couldn't return them. I contacted them, they ignored my email, as they did all the others. I told my bank prior to them sending anything, not to pay them. Unfortunatly, somehow they did. I've filed a complaint requesting a reversal. They are being refused for delivery by me, and UPS put a note to require a signature to leave them, so they couldn't just be dropped off. There are many, many complaints about this company. They should be shut down. "

Customer service is horrible

"Ordering shoes on line is fine; BUT hopefully you do not need to return shoes or worse yet, talk with customer service.

Firstly, it takes about 4-5 minutes to actually speak to someone although I have held for 8 plus minutes on a couple calls. My question was simply, "did you receive the shoes that I returned?". They said no. The UPS tracking system said yes. Then I asked how long to get the credit after they process the return. I got 3 different answers. 5-10 days, 5 business days and 2-3 days. Hmm.

I also sent 3 emails to customer service using the address on their site. I received ZERO responses.

Accordingly I simply filed a dispute with the credit card company...gave them the UPS proof and received a provisional credit the very next day.

You may also check BBB and other online review sites. All are very poor.

Fraudulent

"I ordered boots around Thanksgiving. I received a cancellation notice on December 14th saying they didn’t have any in stock. I looked and every size was in stock. I called and they said they weren’t on sale anymore and I had to pay a higher price if I wanted them. I told them that I wanted them to honor the price I had originally paid. They told me that I would have to pay the higher price and then they would credit me. I have never been credited. I have called several times and they just put me on hold FOREVER and I then hang up. Don’t buy from SHOES.com. Very fraudulent!!!"

Worst Customer Service Ever!

"Whatever you do, do not use Shoes.com. I ordered a pair of Timberlands for my daughter. Item description clearly states comes with secondary pair because shoelaces that come with boots are actually ribbons. Well shoes only came with 1 shoelace. I call them and first time waited 10 minutes and got disconnected, 2nd time waited 15 minutes the rep said "well I have to look to see if it comes with laces." Sure enough it did then she told me I'd have to send shoes back to them on my own dime and then they'd mail me a new pair (are you freakin serious)! I asked to speak to manager she argued why I could not speak to manager finally she did put me on hold over 30 minutes no one ever came on line. Sent an email no response, sent 2nd email no response. Horrible, horrible, horrible! I wouldn't order again even if they offered free shoes, slimy, nasty, no good representatives!"

Horrible! Avoid this merchant

"Horrible. I purchased winter boots from this company on the Walmart.com site, and subsequently wanted to return. The quality is subpar, the fabric is stiff & unyielding, and the way shoelaces work, just not going to last. So I opted to return but had to go through the seller, rather than through Walmart.com. Have sent 3 (three!) emails with no response. Then made a few calls to the 800 number. Twice was hung up on. Called the third time and started with, don't hang up on me! Their CS is outsourced and has problems with spelling. Finally was able to receive & print a return label by email. They want you to purchase UPS insurance, while knowing well that up to $100 insurance is already included in UPS Ground. What's more, the company wants you to print it on the laser printer, right, like off I'm running to buy a laser printer rather than using my good old inkjet, and what's the difference? Another attempt to discourage returns. AVOID THIS MERCHANT.

"Ordered sandals as gift & was charged $42.00 immediately. Fast forward a month and no shoes & after calling customer service was told that they were out of stock and I would be credited in 5 business days but would not send a confirmation of my call. I was told to keep checking w/ my credit card company. What a joke. Do not use shoes.com........"

Terrible customer service

"I ordered some shoes last week as a Christmas gift. They arrived a week later in the mail, but were not the shoes I ordered. Now we are looking at five days before Christmas, so I call and explain the situation. They tell me I have to pay for shipping again, even though they are the ones that screwed up. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told they were busy and would have to call me back in 10 minutes. No one ever called back. So three hours later I call again and ask to speak with a supervisor. I am told they are not available and assured one will call me back. I never received a call back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE."

Terrible customer service.

"Ordered shoes on Monday December 11th. They cancelled my order on December 17th because they did not have the size I ordered. I called customer service to change size and asked to get 2 day shipping for my original price. Thought that was a reasonable request for their error. Nope, the would not pay for quicker shipping. Will never order from them again. "

Horrible Service

"I tried to exchange some shoes and it was a total nightmare. With Zappo's it's easy with Amazon it's easy with any other place it's easy. This place has a horrible website and they were unable to issue me a return label online for some reason. I had no choice to call the customer service number and after 36 minutes on hold I got a hold of one if the Keystone Cops. Total dummy. It was not worth the $10.00 savings. How they train is horrible. Avoid this seller if possible."

Horrible company! I would give it a zero rating.

"I ordered a pair of Timberland boots on Sunday and paid $10.00 for 2nd day delivery. It is now Wednesday and I still have not received my boots. When I placed the order it gave me an expected date for Tuesday, yet when I received my confirmation by email the confirmation notice stated "Keep an eye out for a shipping confirmation and tracking email within the next 1-5 business days." I paid $10.00 extra on my order for 2nd day delivery. When I called the company on Wednesday the representative told me that the shoes would be delivered "2nd day delivery" after the order was processed, which could take up to 3 to 5 days. So now instead of receiving my boots within 2 days of placing my order it really is about a week. I have reviewed several websites about this company since I placed my order and give it a one star rating. I wish I had read the customer reviews before placing my order. "
