I ordered a power supply for my TV. The power supply arrived and I installed it. The TV would not power on. I called ShopJimmy.com and was told that its possible the part is bad and was given the "authorization to return it". Now that the part is returned, shopjimmy.com is telling me they tested the part and it "tested" good. So now I am not getting a full refund. Instead, I am paying a 20% restocking fee to "put the part back on the shelf". Also, the shipping label that they sent and told me to use to return the part is being charged to me?! Not a way to run a buiseness! Never again will I use this company! Not to mention, Kieth, the guy I talked to was very smug and acted like he could care less about the situation."
"I have a Mitsubishi WD 60737 in TV. Somebody had thrown it away and it was laying next to a dumpster. I and a friend of mine out of curiosity plugged it in to see if it worked. It did but had a lot of snow in the screen. I googled the problem online. I found out it had a bad chip that caused the issue at ShopJimmy.com. They have a tutorial that shows what to do to fix the problem. I ordered the part and when it came in I fixed the TV in about an hour. Now I have a 1080P 60 in TV that is 3D capable too for less than 200 bucks!! Thanks Shop Jimmy!!

"Their policy stinks. I ordered a main circut board for 15.00 and 5.00 shipping and when it came it was an eeprom only, in talking to them I was told that just came up with the order numbers I put in which was correct. I could have ordered the right part while on he phone for 24.41, asked if I could get some credit for the wrong part and of course I couldn't. I am an 81 yo, ordered on the line the first time & the last. Terrible
company. I don't even know what an eeprom is and did have the right numbers for what I wanted. "
"I just fixed my own LG TV and I used Shop Jimmy.com for the part. It arrived on a Saturday after ordering on a Tuesday. The part was correct and the service and delivery were great. I will use them again."

I ordered a part for a TV and realized that the part would not fix the issue I was having. It was my understanding that I would have to pay shipping one way to return or exchange it. Fair enough. However, after waiting over 2 weeks for them to receive it, I got an email stating that my refund had been issued. But they gave me less than 50% or the original purchase price. What a ripoff.
If you read the full refund policy you'll see they charge a 20% restocking fee for "Gray and White" members. The only way you know what sort of "member" you are is after you have already created an account with them by purchasing something. Plus, I don't see how taking 50% off the purchase price is anything close to a 20% restocking fee. Stay far away!"
"I ordered a part for my TV and received a part that certainly looked similar but was not the correct part and did not work. Part Number was accurate. When I returned it, they said it worked and charged me a 25% restocking fee. I received a part from another company that worked just fine and the part looked exactly like the one I took out. "There name should be DON'T shop Jimmy's, I e-mailed the supposed tech department and clearly explained what the problem was and even asked if it was the part that I thought was causing the problem. Well after ordering 2 parts and spending $75 it turns out to be the part that I thought it was. "I was troubleshooting my TV problem, and after checking voltage regulators and capacitors, I was unsure about where to turn next.
