"WORST PLACE TO EVER ORDER FROM! I purchased the skinn plasma makeup and brush. It took 11days to finally receive the order. Due to the fact that the color did not match my skin tone I decided to return it. During this time I had a LARGE fraudulant charge on my credit card (561.00)! so I cancelled the card that was on the value pay schedule. Prior to 30 days I had a SNOTTY COMPLETELY RUDE woman from the authorization department call and demand payment! when I explained that i would be returning the makeup, she became even snottier and tried to insult me! I sent the makeup back expecting that the money that had already been collected would easily pay for the brush! but to my surprise, they refunded me money????? then they had the nerve to call from the authorizaiton department AGAIN and be COMPLETELY DOWN RIGHT RUDE AND demand that I pay for the brush. When I inquired as to WHY THEY REFUNDED ME MONEY AND THEN WANTED TO TRY AND BELITTLE ME ABOUT THE BRUSH... THEY HAD NO GOOD ANSWER!!!! and continued to be rude! so I told them I would be returning the brush as well! WHY KEEP ANY MERCHANDISE WHERE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE RUDE TO YOU!!!! THEY CAN POUND SAND FOR ALL I CARE, AND I WILL NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER PURCHASE FROM SHOP NBC AGAIN! AND BE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE THAT WILL LISTEN WHAT A CRAP ORGANIZATION IT IS!!!!!! "

"They offer a VALUE PAYS but they don't tell you that with your name and address they check your credit file so if you don't have a perfect credit avoid this place but if you have a good credit go the a REAL STORE for get better price than here."

"Ordered a nintendo Wii for my family for xmas. As of today the tracking shows "label created" but not shipped. I called customer care and they said "We have to give the shipper two weeks from the ship date to place an inquiry!
I responded "There is no ship date! The ship date is wrong because it has not yet been shipped!"
She stated she wouldn't be able to help me and I should call back on Xmas eve if the order "Hasn't actually been shipped yet."
I then asked if I could cancel the order, and she said no!

"I will never purchase anything from them again. I purchased a computer on Value Pay with MY AMEX not my debit card. and I looked at my credit report about 2 months later and there was a Hard inquiry on my report. They were never authorized by me to do this. They didn't have my social either. They said they have the right on any purchase when I called them yet, they never told me when I purchased the item by phone and never said it on Tv when they were selling the item that they were going to do a credit check. What they told me is I should have looked on their website first to see there terms. Well, at that time I din't even have a computer hooked up to a web service to read them. Think of all the old people here who buy from them and are totally Clueless as to what they are doing. I think they should be Sued for doing that. Remember I was using MY AMEX not cash, debit or anything else. I never gave them permission to do this."

"I bought a set of Dream Oaks Outlast sheets (G13427 - Dream Oaks 350TC Outlast® Cotton). After a few months use, the bottom sheet stretched apart in the middle and ripped. These are obviously cheap sheets. Don't buy.
Customer services were terrible, too. Shop NBC would not replace the sheet, since it had been over 30 days, a very short return period. The manufacturer Design Weave refused to replace the sheet; the representative hung up on me. Both companies suck as does the junk they sell."

"I order a pair of Polarized Gargoyle sunglasses which was clearly stated in both the headline and the description of the lenses. I received a NON-polarized version of the model type I ordered. The customer service lady asked how I knew they weren't polarized because ALL of the ones they sell are polarized and then asked If I had them tested. My response was that I simply looked at the brand's model number (QGY1048) which is a model that is not made with polarization. Gargoyles model QGY1049 is what I ordered. She said I could send them back and if they decided I was right I could get a refund. After reading the other comments on here, it sounds like attempting to send them back will just be spending good money after bad and I should just accept this as a lesson to never shop at ShopNBC. "

"This was my first Sturling watch and I had to chance to talk with Mr. Larry Magen while he was on shop NBC. I The watch is beautiful. I odered a blue one and now wish I would have ordered the red one also. I know I will be back for more. Nicely packaged included three bezels interchanchable. I also ordered the Stuhrling extra interchangeable watch bans and this wil allow me to have many diffrent looks with the Apocalpse Trifecta watch set.

ShopNBC's policy is if they make a mistake, it is YOUR problem.

ShopNBC cannot be trusted on their word. Their customer service is non existent, they do not care about their customers one bit. Once they have your money good luck getting any help from them. They would rather spend time, and paid employee wages, sending countless emails to deny something they told a customer they would do, than to fix their mistake and honor what they say.

I hope anyone reading this listens to my warning and DOES NOT shop with ShopNBC... AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! Their word means nothing, their representatives are extremely rude, and they don't care about customers no matter how loyal you are or the amount you have spent there. There are too many places to shop to need to be treated the way they treat customers. I urge anyone who thinks of shopping with them to check elsewhere... Most things they sell can be found for much better deals online. I am sorry for anyone who has to deal with their excuses, lies, and non caring attitude.

I have spent a lot of money with them had many HORRIBLE experiences with ShopNBC in the short time I was a customer. I have learned my lesson on shopping with ShopNBC. I hope my trouble can save someone else the hassle of going through the same things... so whatever you do AVOID SHOPNBC AT ALL COSTS!"

"Avoid ShopNBC. I ordered a new watch that arrived in used condition or rather abused condition. The watch took forever to (ship) process and receive using ShopNBC's lousy customer service and shipping. The watch that I received had scrapes and nicks on the stainless steel case. I contacted ShopNBC and requested a replacement watch. I returned the watch to ShopNBC within their return policy and had to wait for their response. Without any communication they decided not to send a replacement and charged me for the shipping cost. They send me a piece of garbage and then charge me to ship their defective product back to them. Do not buy from this company. They hype their jewelry and watches as top notch, etc. When you order from these people you are taking a chance of getting a defective product or someone elses used or returned item. Their shipping takes forever and the customer service contact by E-mail takes forever. There are better companies to buy from which actually are lower in cost with much better shipping and customer service. I took a chance on ShopNBC and will never buy from them again. There are complaints all over the internet about this company.

Update: Was suggested that I re-order the same item again - BIG MISTAKE. Against my better judgment I re-ordered the same item (watch) again thinking a possibility existed that ShopNBC would rectify the situation and send me a NEW undamaged or non-used watch. WRONG!! I received the same model watch that appeared to have been a used model. The watch itself had looked like a display model or possibly a return. What a scam. These people are not to be trusted. Also they change their pricing on some of their items practically overnight. If you do buy something from them, carefully inspect the item that you receive. Check for any damages or noticeable wear. Immediately contact their customer service and demand a refund (DO NOT REQUEST A REPLACEMENT!). Insist that they pay for the return shipping if the product is defective or appears damaged, used or worn. If you decide to keep an item that you purchased from ShopNBC, be sure to check any cost differences that are being advertised. You have 14 days from the invoice (purchase) date to request a difference in cost refund. My advise to everyone - don't buy anything from ShopNBC."

"Should have read the reviews here first. I have not seen 1 positive review. I ordered a 32 degree watch after seeing the hype on our local cable channel. Looked and sounded like a great deal. After ordering on the phone, I was told I will get my order in 7 days. Also told I would get an email confirmation next day. After no email confirmation I called customer support and found they had no stock on the watch, and it was backordered at least 1 month. I cancelled immediately. These guys are a bunch on con artists, and I doubt they have anything in stock. When you see those quantities being counted down during the hype, don't believe it. There was plent of stock shown when I ordered, so they deliberately mislead customers to get orders.

Since I wrote the original review, I had requested they cancel the order. They replied with an email saying they have cancelled the order. I never got a shipment, so they seem to have done what they promised.

Subsequent Google searches on shopNBC have revealed a large number of current customer complaints. My experience notwithstanding, stay away. You can always buy the same item advertised elsewhere for similar prices and get better service and better merchandise."

I was duped to patronize ShopNBC by its very shrewd telecasts. Item delivered was not as promoted on the three airings. I passed up similar items from other online stores and was excited waiting, just to be totally dumbfounded to receive an insultingly wrong item. Needless to say, I was greatly inconvenienced, to say the least. More importantly, this experience further worsens my concern on online shopping.

Although I was approved for 12 month no payment/no interest account, I will not shop from this merchant a second time. My initial and only experience was so unpleasant, I would not want to go through it again. This orgnization should be investigated for fraudulent online marketing practices.

It is unthinkable how an organization that carries NBC name can be this inept...and probably fraudulent.

Follow up on this mess:(Oct. 23, 2008)

After several phone calls and e-mails regarding refund of returned item, I was notified that refund has been processed for full price of item but S&H cost($39.00)is not refundable.

Beware of this fraudulent store. Do not believe what they advertise on TV or their website. I really think ShopNBC should be investigated for scam operation. Very very very bad store."
