"Worst experience ever. I m definitely going to share it. Got the purchase of the Agolde jeans for my wife in February 2022 and after a month and 3-4 wearings the skin on jeans got burst. We ve called to Shopbop and shared the photos of the crack. We are aware that normally the companies give up to 6 months as guarantee on clothes and 1 as guarantee for shoes. So we expected to get a service or return the item as guaranteed one. The item was not even washed at all and after one month it is not usable anymore. What we ve got as solution from Shopbop is nothing (no return as time passed and no guarantee at all). I ll check for sure if it possible to sell the clothes with no guarantee at all from the legal point of view. I m living in Europe and it s hard even imagine such an attitude to the customer.

"Happily ordered a Tory Burch Sandal because I had thought Shopbop seemed trustworthy and reliable, and it’s prices were atttactive.
But it seems like they aren’t transparent at all! Was charged $200+ instead of $168 that was reflected on the checkout page. Only realised this after checking my bank statements.
Would be nice if Shopbop bothers to state that our payment would be made in USD instead of misleading consumers. (A popup warning would’ve suffice) Haven’t had such an issue with any other shopping apps, both US and China stores included. This unpleasant experience just shows that Shopbop does not prioritise nor value their customers’ shopping experiences.
I feel extremely scammed and cheated of my $200+ but I don’t suppose Shopbop would probably bother to resolve this for me or do anything, judging from their email response that pretty much indirectly says I should have checked my currency and it’s not their fault I paid more.
Do not recommend to buy from them at all. I’m appalled people even leave good reviews for this company. "

"I bought a pair of soludos on shopbop. As the product page marked "true to size", I ordered the same size as my previous soludos. And the first time I tried the shoes on, my feet were flying out. They were at least one size bigger. As international return required shopper to bear the delivery cost, I emailed them to ask them to handle the delivery cost for return as I was misled by the product information. Shopbop CS replied me that I'm the one responsible for picking the wrong size and I have to handle the delivery cost (US$35 - which was more expensive than my order) for return product.
It's the worst online shopping experience I ever had. I suggest everyone not to shop at shopbop!"
"To be honest, I made my purchase without reading any review of Shopbob as I couldn't find the MK Wristlet of a specific color I was looking for in Singapore at the budget I had. Made a purchase and to my dismay, I found negative reviews.
Maybe I was one of the luckier ones. Made a purchase on 16 Sept (Sunday) and the item was supposed to arrive on 20 Sept (Thursday) by the end of the and it indeed arrived on Thursday, and in fact, it reached me at the start of the day!
Completely satisfied with the delivery and service. When I had queries to the customer service, though there were 3 people answering me, the replies were prompt and fast!!!
Will highly recommend Shopbob and I will definitely be a return shopper."
"Ordered a $92.00 bodysuit, was sent a $28.00 pair of ****. Called them, explained the situation, they apologized and sent me what should have been the right thing (in 2 sizes, so I effectively bought 2 more). The 2 replacement "bodysuits" arrived and lo and behold, 2 more pairs of $28.00 ****! I have spent $276.00 this week on this website and gotten 0% of what I wanted. God awful service!"
"Some employees are good people, then they leave. You are a terrible fool to do business with these people. They will screw you in ways you cannot even imagine. They don't do what they say they will do. They're quotes are way off. They will charge you incredible amounts of money for shipments that don't even reach their destination. They will say they will compensate you for their errors, and then they won't do so. I literally cannot say enough bad things about this company. "
"Like the other reviews below had mentioned, something has certainly changed in the last year. I’ve been shopping with Shopbop for 11 years now and have always been thrilled with their customer service. After their last big sale in the fall, I placed multiple large orders which took over 3 weeks to arrive and some of the items who holiday gifts that didn’t arrive in time. I was told by two different managers that unless you request overnight or two day shipping for an extra fee, your order will not even be processed until the priority shipping orders go out first.
Since then it’s been one bad experience after another.
I’d be surprised if Shopbop still exists for another couple of years! Such a shame..."

In a recent year something has changed and they never ship on time: despite the indicated deadlines it takes them sometimes several days just to process the order. The customer service do not reply on emails (it took me 4 emails and days to get a reply with no solution). "

"Be very careful when ordering from shopbob/eastdane as they offer no type of customer service what so ever! And their returns policy is complete BS! They charge you a refusal fee if you don't pick up your package, plus charge you import fees and VAT even for items not received, and will not refund this. Furthermore they charge you for simply returning an item. These are mafia style methods, and do not belong in retail whatsoever! Be warned! This is the worst shopping experience Ive ever had!"
"I've been a long time customer of shopbop's (since they opened 11 years ago) but that doesn't seem to matter to them. They recently sent me an email saying "my account could be subject to a modified returns policy, which includes a built-in Returns Penalty Fee for each item you return to Shopbop."
One of the main reasons I shopped with them was the no-hassle return policy. Not only have I spent large sums of money, I have also referred business by way of friends. This was a huge and unforgivable insult...good way to alienate loyal customers. I will now shop at Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus instead!"
