Takes forever to get shipped

"I ordered on Thursday at lunchtime ready for pick up in the afternoon and now it is Sunday still not shipped i chose usps 1-3 days tried to call for shipping help i have to call from Monday to Friday "

Very Poor Communication

"On August 8, 2021, I placed an order for 20 six inch Ethernet patch cables. On August 18, I still had not received any communication about my order, so I emailed their customer service department requesting a status update. I received a reply stating they would get back to me with an update. A whole day went by without any new updates, so I called their customer service number. The gentleman I spoke with was friendly, but he basically told me he didn’t know what the problem was and there was a chance the order was delayed because of a problem with a shipment they had not received. He asked me if I wanted to cancel my order. I told him I didn’t want to cancel my order and that I was simply asking for better communication. He told me he would email his team and copy me on the email - which he did. Later that day, I received a follow-up email stating my order may have been lost in some sort of warehouse move they were dealing with and that they would ship to me ASAP. After that, I waited a whole week without any further update. I emailed their customer service, again, requesting an update - to which someone replied “I apologize for the delay. These will be on back order until December.” The bottom line, better communication about order status would go a long way! This experience does not leave me with confidence that I, as a customer, matter to them. I do not plan on purchasing from them again."

So much for "same-day shipping 10,000+ products"!

"I am not impressed with this company! They said when I ordered on and PAID on March 2nd I would get a tracking number through email. I didn't. When I finally called them on March 6th they had NO TRACKING record on file. After an apology email, several phone/ live chats, and "free shipping" for my trouble I finally did get my order on MARCH 11th!"

they really are my favorite online retailer

"Like everybody, I buy many items online each year, but showmecables.com is always the best when I need Ethernet cables, and are probably great for other items too. Despite knowing this, I Google around every time I need more cables, but I always end up ordering with them. Their web site makes it really easy to find the items you need. They have always shipped immediately and at very low cost over the 3 years I've done business with them.

I seriously can't say enough good things about them. And no, I wasn't asked or paid or rewarded to do a review for them.

"Searched for an hour for a cable online. I believe it is rather rare--single 1/4" male jack to two 3.5mm headphone jack adapter/splicer--came across showmecables. They had just what I needed at what i feel is good price (5.19USD). Never heard of the company so I decided to do some research before purchasing. Top complaints--shipping price, charging card before item ships, and timeliness in receiving items (mainly due to fact they "show items in stock that still must be ordered/received before they can ship your order"). My shipping was fair only 6 dollars for 1-3 day flat rate. Cannot speak for charging card before shipping yet, and to prevent waiting on item to arrive at their location before shipping, i called the store. Very polite and help customer service rep. stated they had 15 in stock and would ship next day. I completed order online following phone call with confidence the order will be correct and quick. Will follow up review upon receiving item. as of now would definitely do business with again. A++"

3 Day Select which delivered the package
to my neighbor who was Out of Town.

She came back today April 25th 2015

"I ordered on the website and the process was quick and easy. My card was immediately charged and the receipt stated 3-7 days for delivery. Most companies only charge when the item is shipped, which I felt was odd. The email stated that I would receive another email when the product shipped. 10-days later and the product isn't even shipped out yet. Their site does not update what they have or don't have in stock. They do not update their customers if something is back-ordered. The extra bucks aren't worth saving, go with a more reputable company if you want your product on time, if any product at all."

"Tried to place an order via the website and all went very smooth. Initial contact via phone went well also and rep I spoke with was very helpful. I asked about tax exempt and sent our tax exempt letter/certificate as requested. The morning after the order was placed, they started asking for tax exempt forms which we have never had to fill out before. The tax exempt letter/certificate from the state was not enough to satisfy them. I did not have the time nor inclination to fill out more forms as 'required' by their accounting department. I cancelled the order and have ordered elsewhere. Sadly they have great pricing, but I am less than pleased with follow-through, plus customer service and accounting seem to have different understandings of tax exempt status. I fail to understand why an official certificate, issued by the state, is not sufficient documentation of tax exempt status for our small non-profit."
