" ECM took 1 month to repair and it was defective , sent it back and its been 20 days already , they said WAIT because its 14 days turn around , THe car is seating for 2 months already . Stay away from this company "
"Sent in my ECM for O2 sensor faults. Spent over $35.00 to ship it priority mail with insurance. Sent paper work with my information and list of all the faults. Tracked it to them and call 5 days after they received it. I was told they did not receive it, gave them the s/n if the ECM. Hours after they call back and rudely told me they had it and no information was shipped with it. When asked about the box I shipped it in with my name and address on it was rudely they threw away the box after opening, lucky I called or who know what they would have done with it. (it you had a part come in with no paperwork would you not save the box that has the shipping information to identify the customer). Had to give them a list of problems again but the person who answer the phone kept cutting me off and said they would call me when it was done.
Took over 35 days and 4 phone called to finally before it was ready to ship back. It was shipped back in a very small bow with no extra package. Got it back and installed it. Spent the next 2 months trying to get it working and reset the codes ( this is not my daily driver and only have a limited time to work on it because if my job schedule). Called back 3 times to talk with a technician and told they only talk to customers after 4:00 pm. After finally getting to talk to the technician he said that my problem is probably my wiring, bad ground or damage wire or O2 sensor Spent the next couple changing all 4 O2 sensor and looking at the wires. No luck. Took it to a repair shop and after couple hundred dollars it is the ECM has a short. Now do send it back and hope for a different Result. "
"Manager got smart with me after asking a simple question about the negative reviews, he said I’ll just send your computer back. I was worried about the negative reviews due to the price of the ecm. Don’t expect any updates on your module, oh and they do not explain how the process works, they just tell you they will call when it’s finished…
No one was yelling Until I was disrespected, I asked you a simple question and you started being disrespectful, After being disrespected and treated worse then a dog for asking a simple question and then being transferred 3 times on top of being hung up on and no response for 3 hours yes I’m gonna be upset.. Not only did sia waste my money but time as well.
I had to call ups just to get a call back from SIA ELECTRONICS on where my ecm was due to them not answering the phone and hanging up in my face..
Edit: I got my ecm back and it doesn’t even line up correctly anymore, I sent the module in for a diode repair and received it back damaged externally, looks like someone was prying with a screwdriver while the screws were still in… there are gaps that moisture can get in from someone prying on it, they forced their way inside and bent the aluminum casing around the ecm which the motherboard sits on the inside of…I PAID EXTRA MONEY FOR BUBBLE WRAP AND A BOX, sia didn’t even use the correct size box when sending it back… when they sent the ecm back it didn’t even have any bubble wrap only 12 pieces of popcorn..
I can understand denying business but don’t destroy someone’s property. "
"I sent my vehicle computer in for repair, 8/17/2017 . I was told that you have a lifetime warrant. When it came back . my paperwork said they replaced parts in it. In 2021 I called them to check if it still was in warranty ,I was told that yes . So I sent it to them . A few days later I received a call that I had to pay 189.00 for repair . I called back and told them that I was told it was still under warrant . They told me they had to replace a part in it that the original parts were still in it. That the computer wasn't the one .I told them that it was the same one that I sent in for repair . That they didn't do anything to my computer just bench checked it and send it back to me making me think they had repaired it. I checked on the better Business bureau and found that this is something that they do all the time to customers had a lot of complaints on them. They used this tactic to get out of the warranty saying that the computer is not the one you sent in . I had referred them to a friend of mine and they done him the same way. Bench tested his computer and said it was all right. When it came back it was still the same problem. They never opening it. To repair it. My warning is that customer stay away from doing business with them fraudulent business practices.

"I needed my ECU repaired on 09 Ford Taurus. Diagnosis was a bad coil driver on number 6 cylinder. To me I’d have to say S.I.A. electronics answered questions I needed answered. It was easy to ship my ECU to them. I did receive a call when my ECU was done being repaired. Price of the repair was fair. My ECU was returned in the time frame that was stated to me. Highly recommend, very impressed. Giving credit when credit is due. Good job. Thank you."

"I sent my truck computer in for a repair. They fixed it but it had many more problems. So I'm thinking I have a lifetime warranty on this computer ok I'll send it back. Sent it back took over a week the get the part back. I could never get no one on the phone. Ok finally got my part back again. The truck acting worst than it did before I sent it in. I am so upset. I think all they did was let it sit in the place for a few days act like they fixed and just sent it back. My truck is no better now I have to spend over $1000 the fix the truck. Never go out the cheap way especially with a cheap no good company like SIA! PEACE OF ****! "
