"Skimo is the best company I've worked with in a very very long time. When I first submitted my order for a mountaineering harness for my boyfriend, I immediately got an email from the owner of Skimo letting me know that it was being shipped from Italy and would be later than originally thought. He said if I wanted to cancel my order that was totally fine. I didn't, because I knew it was what my boyfriend really wanted, so I let Skimo know that it was fine. Skimo kept me in the loop the entire time, letting me know when it was coming in, and when it was getting shipped. And when it finally did, they sent it out with some free gifts and a personalized letter to my boyfriend letting him know it wasn't my fault it was so late :) Skimo is amazing."
"To start with, it is a pleasure to finally find a one stop shop for high end skimo gear in North America. Way cool! What I am really blown away with though is the customer experience with skim.co! Long before I ordered I contacted skim.co with specific technical questions about products and their likely stock selection in the future. All my questions were answered quickly and with detail. But it did not stop there, Skimo.co customer service followed up with me later to make sure I had found out everything I needed to make my shopping decisions. In the end Skimo.co ended up tracking down difficult to find products for me and placing in special orders with distributors for items not on their normal stock lists.
