"Foolish me for not having read return/refund policy more carefully.
Shame on a skincare products manufacturer to not have a satisfaction guarantee especially when their treatment products irritate skin and their cosmetics make it look terrible."
"I have placed three orders with this company. I have been satisfied with both the quality of the product and the speed of delivery. I did have one slightly leaky jar of microdermabrasian peel, but this leakage did not seem to affect the quality of the product. I have not had any interaction with their customer service. I really like their microdermabrasian peel. I have ordered it twice and recommended it to friends. It's very good for getting rid of the "flakies" resulting from Retin-A treatment. I have just started to use the mineral make up and like it too. "
"I ordered 6 items from this co. on August 1st. They arrived on August 27th, but with the most expensive piece of make-up missing ($36.95).
I have written to them 3 times in the past 10 days, but they keep ignoring me. I guess I'm out $36.95. I'll never use these people again!
followup: This item arrived Sept. 30, a few days after I threatened to report this co. to the BBB. "
"I purchased a microdermabrasion kit from this company. I printed out a form from their website, then sent in a money order as directed. It should have been shipped the day it was received, according to their site.
I inquired on 11/16 as to the status, and was told that they had received it on 11/14 and would hold it for 7-10 days to clear the check. I specifically did not send a check to avoid this delay! The worst part is their customer service. The woman who corresponded with me is the rudest, crassest person I've ever dealt with!

I have yet to see when they decide to send my order. It could take months."
"I ordered the 3-piece microdermabrasion kit, which is stated on the skin rx web site to include a 2 oz jar of microdermabrasion crystals, a 4-piece facial cleansing brush set, and a 1oz bottle of skin soothing gel serum. The order was very well packaged, but the main item of the order, the microdermabrasion crystals, were not included. I emailed immediatedly, three times, and received no reply. I also called every number I could find and each leads to a voice message which allows no message to be left. Rather, it provides a fax prompt for orders. I faxed in my complaint and received no reply. I have also emailed to receive a return authorization, since the company won't allow returns without one, and received no reply. Also, the company only allows 1 day for consideration of a return and will not attend to any claims for missing order items after 2 days of order delivery. I would never order from this company again and am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau."
"This company states on the website its glycolic acid product has 1.9ph. Their mailings say 2.8ph. This is a big difference and I emailed to clarify and they were hostile, refused to answer and sent this email to me after lying about sending me the origional email. Even if they did send an answer, it is obvious I did not get it, why would they not answer again? Do we only get one shot at a question? I could not believe what they said to me in the following email.
....Hello
You are truly an idiot, quite obviously. We do not show you as ever having bought anything from our company.
The feds? Get a life. Do you even known what agency regulates cosmetics and skin care? Do you know what year they last made a ruling on efficacy and proportionate levels of ingredients? No, you do not. You are totally ignorant as to what you write about. You do not have any facts. You have not filed any legitimate reports. You do not have the intelligence or authority to do so. What is worse, you are totally ignorant to our industry and the standards. Stick to your day job. Or better yet, check out the illegitimate companies selling 70% acid online ( drug at that level). Take some time bothering them.
As well, we did thoroughly answer your pH question well over a month ago. We show proof that you received it. Obviously you did not read it, or someone else who uses your computer read it. The answer was clear, concise and factual.
Please go on about your business. We have no interest in what you have to say. "

"On 15 Nov. 2002 I placed an online order with Skin Rx via their website. Very shortly afterward I received automatic e-mail confirmation of my order, and an order number. When I did not receive the product in the post or any further e-mails regarding the status of my order, I had to query the company three times by e-mail (4 Dec., 5 Dec. and 6 Dec.) before finally being informed that my "order was never a valid order, We voided it on the same day it was placed." This was on the grounds that the company did not accept international credit cards. I had failed to notice this restriction on the online ordering form and I must stress that I had not had any problem entering my address and other information online-- and as noted above I had also received confirmation of my order. My complaint is that I should have been informed that my order "was never a valid order" by the company much earlier, and it should not have required multiple e-mailed queries from me to extract this important information about my order. It was also very poor business practice for this company to command me not to seek to contact the company again, nor to visit its website.
