"Worst customer service ever. I ordered a patio set back in March (its now mid June)... still haven't received. I called their customer service the day it was set to arrive to make sure it was on time (this was the first week of April) and I was told that it was on schedule. a week passed and still no patio set, so i called again and now it was backordered, wouldn't arrive until May 1st. May 1st came and went, I called again... now its back ordered till June 1st. June 1st came and went, now its back orderd till June 12th. Had i been able to find a comparable set i would have cancelled this order a long time ago. To top it all off i'm still being charged $130 for shipping (thats 3 months late at this point). I will never ever purchase anything from here again."

"I paid $101 delivery charges for an order to Canada. At that rate, I expected UPS or FEDEX delivery asap. It's been almost 2 weeks since I placed my order. Now, after calling customer service, they say that it will take 3-4 weeks for delivery. I have a FEDEX account, and I know what it should cost. This is ridiculous for a 3-4 week delivery time. Horse and buggy delivery would be just as fast for $101."
"Placed an order on an item I 'thought' was in stock, but received an email a couple of days later indicating it was back ordered for 30 days. When I called to find out if it would ship out on time, I was told it would. After not receiving a shipment notification after the promise date, I called Customer Service and they couldn't tell me if it was shipped or scheduled to ship?!? They would make an inquiry and I would receive a notice in 3 days on the status. I asked to speak to a Manager because I can't understand why someone at SkyMall can't pick up a phone and call the vendor.....extremely poor customer service at SkyMall!!!!"
"Ordered a sleep mask in blue. SkyMall cancelled my order by email with very little explanation. I called the toll-free customer service number and was finally able to talk to a real person about this. She was VERY helpful. The item was available in several other colors, just not the color I had originally ordered. I reordered it in a different color. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the way SkyMall handled my original order by just cancelling it by email and not giving me the option to choose a different color."

"Dealing with SkyMall has been the worst experience I have ever had shopping online. I placed an order on May 8th. Today is May 28th. I have called several times and they told me I had to call the post office (waited 40 min to talk to someone). They should be the ones following up. I paid 30.00 for shipping. I was first told that they would send a new item to me within 3 days. It never came. I called back and was then told that the entire order had to be cancelled and it would take 7-10 days to get the credit back on my card. Then, if I wanted to we could start over. 'I THINK NOT!""
"I ordered 3 items for my mother for her birthday. Two of the items arrived at her house and one was shipped to me, when clearly it was supposed to ship to her. This is a major inconvenience because she lives in PA and I live in MO. I have always loved looking at the skymall catalog and this was my first order ever. I am not overly excited about the experience. Very inconvenient for me to have to mail this other gift to her. That was the point of me ordering online!"
"I have only ordered once from Skymall and it will be my last time ever. I have never experienced such a terrible company to work with. My order, placed on March 26th of 2014 was attempted to be delivered to my house roughly a week and a half later. I was away on a business trip, so not exactly sure what happened, but the order was not successfully delivered. When I returned from my trip, I contacted Skymall to see what happened with my order. They said they requested the order back and that if I still wanted the product, I would have to place another order - essentially to re-order the package. Ok, fine. This was ok. However, I did not want to place a re-order until a refund had been issued. It is now May 22nd and I still do not have my refund. Multiple phone calls have taken place, and I finally had to argue with them to get a refund for a purchase I made, but never received. I cannot say enough bad things about my experience. I am not sure Skymall is a real company. I would caution anyone thinking of ordering from them. Just don't do it. Order from a reputable place of business. Skymall is obviously not a real company as my shipment and refund have both been completely botched for almost 2 full months now. I am so mad over this experience, I could spit nails. Should you place an order with Skymall - please, no - don't do it."
"Disappointed in the fact that after over a half an hour attempting to order on your poorly constructed Internet site I gave up trying and called your very helpful customer service department and placed my order. I inquired about when it would ship and l was told yesterday the item was in Stock would ship at once which i needed for my son's bbirthdayand now it's not. It's for my son's 40th Birthday on June 5th, now it will not arrive on time. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I also see that the freight went from free to $30 now to almost $57. Customer service gave me a $60 credit for my trouble and said they have to charge the $30 shipping because they cannot give the advertised free freight and the courtesy discount. Discounts are nice but don't mean that much to me. What is important for me is my time and finding unique items for family gifts. Once I got to see and try this lounger I planned on perhaps buying one for my wife here in Buffalo. Now time will not allow. I would not have bought the first one had I known there would be a delay of at least 25 days. I don't want to start looking for something else so continue the order"

"My first purchase from SkyMall has been disappointing. The item ordered indicated in-stock and a shipping time frame of 7-10 days. After over one week of not hearing anything on the status of my order, other than 'Accepted', I called Sky Mall to inquire. The customer service representative could not provide any details on when it would ship. She indicated she need to contact the vendor for status. I understood that, and waited for an updated. After three more days, I received an email stating the item is back-ordered with a expected delivery by August 15, 2014 (3 months from now). By that time, summer will be nearly over and also my use of the product until next summer. I am an understanding person and realize things like this can happen, but find this disappointing for my first order. I feel like I was mislead on the availability of the item and the poor communications on actual status It has reinforced the apprehension I have had for years, regarding ordering from SkyMall. With all the on-line retailers, I think SkyMall has definite room for improvement."
"I will never order from them again. I ordered a sterling silver bracelet for my daughter's first Mother's Day. I checked on line, before I ordered it and verified that it was "in stock". When I called to order the bracelet, I paid an outrageous fee for "next day delivery". I did not receive it "next day". I called to question this, and I was rudely told....well the day is not over. Well, the day is over and today (the day AFTER I was suppose to receive it) I get an email stating that it is on back order and won't even be shipped out for another 4 weeks!!!!!!!"
