"The order came complete and in reasonable time. However I must comment on the advertising of the CPAP breathing machine. The advertising specifies that this unit is extremely small which makes it very attractive, and also that this machine eliminates the need for a humidifier. It does not specify that to make it fully functional it does need either a humidifier or and additional attachment that eliminates the need for water. All the additional accessories makes the whole machine as big as any other regular CPAP, which renders the main purpose of the purchase, obsolete.

Customer service advised not to cancel the order saying they would put through a credit. The credit never came through and they have not answered a further request.

"Not happy with my first SkyMall experience. Upon receiving my order I saw that the warranty was not as advertised in SkyMall catalog, but several phone calls and emails to SkyMall did not resolve this. After nearly a month of this a SkyMall supervisor wrote and said warranty would be 1 year, not the 3 years that had been promised. So I returned the unused product to the vendor only to get a phone call from the vendor's rep saying the item does carry a 3 year warranty for SkyMall customers but that they do not put that in writing. After all this frustration I declined the vendor's offer to return the item to me. Both SkyMall and the vendor had let me down already and wasted much of my time and I didn't want to risk later needing warranty service but having nothing in writing to back me up. SkyMall reps handled the situation poorly and then ended up giving me the wrong answer, anyway."

"Ugh. I will NOT be ordering from SkyMall again. I ordered a dog bed, rec'd an email saying it was on backorder for almost a month. I called & spoke w/ an actual person, cancelled the order, ordered a different size that was in stock, rec'd 2 emails confirming the cancellation and the new order. I rec'd the right size dog bed, then I rec'd a shipping confirmation that the cancelled order shipped AND they charged my credit card. I immediately & they said they see that it was cancelled, no idea why it shipped & that I should just reject the shipment when it comes in (if I'm home) & they'll refund my account when they receive the order back and restock it. What?? They would NOT refund my card until they rec'd it back. 2 weeks later, I get the confirmation that they rec'd it back & would credit my account. I rec'd the credit over night, for $20 less than what they billed me. I called this morning & was told they couldn't credit me the shipping. I advised that this was their error, not mine & that it needed to be credited. The gentleman spoke to his mgr & said they cannot refund the shipping. I asked to speak to the mgr, was placed on hold & the same gentleman came back and said that when he advised his supervisor that I wanted to speak with him, he said he would credit the shipping but they could NOT credit the 'handling fee' of $3.55. I advised I wasn't going to argue about it anymore, thanked him for his time & ended the call. This was my first...and last...time ordering from SkyMall. Sad that the experience was so poor."
