If you don't have enough inventory of a product, don't make it possible for customers to place additional orders for that product. I will never order from Skyo again."

"I ordered two books from Skyo because they had a promotion going where you received $20 off if your order was over a certain amount. So I ordered my books for my classes and started waiting for their arrival. Three days later, the day I expected to RECEIVE my book, I instead got a message that they didn't have my book and were cancelling my order. I asked for feedback, and someone sent me a response that basically said sorry, they didn't check their inventory. It felt very insincere and they offered nothing to make up for the inconvenience.
I did receive the other book I had ordered, and thank goodness, they still gave me the promotion (since that was the primary reason for purchasing on their site), but I ended up having to find the book somewhere else several days later and paying more for it. I was pretty disappointed overall.
ADDED SEVERAL HOURS AFTER INITIAL REVIEW:
I'm adding to my review because of the comment from the rep below. The rep says "If we can do anything to make this right, contact us." However includes no contact information. I reached out when this first happened in the hopes that they would do something to lessen the inconvenience, but as I mentioned before, nothing was done. This just seems like a lot of hot air to make the company look good. Don't be fooled, consumers. There was no actual effort to make up for their mistake. "
