"I pulled the plug on cable and tried Sling to fill in for the channels I really watched. I had to upgrade to orange to get Bravo to see Top chef but like the fact I can change it once the show is over. No long contracts! I think the price is too high. I only pay 8 dollars for Hulu so may just switch to Hulu live since price will be comparable. "

"The channel selections are great, but too many oddball stations; would prefer fewer stations but include ESPN and Freeform with the blue service. The “cloud” service needs improving. Playback is prone to freezing, which usually can only be remedied by restarting the host device (Amazon Fire TV in this case). Also, beware of recording programs that may run past the advertised times (overtime in sporting events, e.g.); you must record the next scheduled program on that station or you might miss the end of the game!"

"Over all Sling is good. The only problem I have is when the shows freeze and you have to go to the home screen and start all over again. And you have to restart the show over because it does not save when it feeezes. It does not happen all the time but enough to be annoying
