Fast Shipping, Abysmal Customer Service

"I ordered a Vanguard engine from Small Engine Warehouse in late May. I was amazed that it arrived at my house the next business day.

The problem was that the engine did NOT have the oil drain tube that it was supposed to have.

Here I am 2 months later, and even though I have repeatedly contacted Small Engine Warehouse, and sent the pictures they requested, I have never received any resolution or actual response.

The only response I have received was when I contacted the salesperson, Seth Conlon, who was helpful, but he could not resolve the problem because it is not his department.

NEVER IN STOCK

" IF THEY DON'T USE PAYPAL DON'T USE THEM.I have ordered two times, both times after weeks of waiting; was told on backorder. Then after sending email several days later; get message saying it would still be weeks before I received my order. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! "

Same thing, different reviewer- part not in stock

"Ordered a string trimmer spool on 10/7/23. It didn't ship until 10/17/23. There was no indication the part was not in the "warehouse". The company should change its name to Small Engine Parts Drop Ship, as there clearly is no warehouse involved. My bad for not checking them out here, I would have avoided them."

"These people are a half assed low down dirty scum bags that don't stock hardly anything order from a cheap supplier and don't even have the courtesy to drop ship it to you because they want you to think they had it. True stories in reviews these people just make money to buy you something from someone else and sell it to you in am untimely manner that will in the end cost you more when they send you the wrong part"

Charges your card, no parts in stock

"Great, one of these companies again…website shows parts in stock and completes the transaction only to find out they don’t have it and have no idea when it will be off of back order. No communication, had to track them down a week later. Waiting on the parts everyday to complete a job, could have made other arrangements..terrible way to do business.

BUYER BEWARE

"I ordered a part online 9 days ago and now I get an email that my part is back-ordered. BUYER BEWARE when ordering from this mom and pop company. They don't carry most parts in their inventory. You may have to wait for them to get the part from the manufacturer, THEN reship it to you. Terry (owner) didn't seem to care much about their slow process. He blamed the delay on Husqvarna and their high volume of online orders taking time to fulfill. "

Dont by anything from them.

"Waited almost a week and did not receive my order. Called them and they told me they were waiting on the part and would ship it out on Friday. 3 hours later I received a refund without any reason. F* them"

Website doesn't show if the part you want is in stock

"I ordered a part for my mower from these "ya hoos" prior to going on vacation. Was expecting to see the part when I got back home. No part when I got home so I went on line to get an order status. On the status it now states the part is on backorder. No where did it say this when I ordered the part. This is nothing short of false advertising and I may take that up with the Better Business Bureau.

Bottom line don't use this vendor. Pay a couple of extra bucks and find a vendor that shows quantity on hand on their web page.

Not if you need parts in a hurry

"I ordered parts on may 13. It is now May 27. I just got confirmation my parts (two bolts) should be delivered June 1st. I have contacted seller a couple times, because I really need these parts. They are very friendly, and seem eager to help. IE the two stars, however I still can not get back to work without the parts. They have the best price on the net, but only if you don't mind waiting. If you need parts right away, you should spend the extra money to buy from somewhere else. "
