"I bought the complete collection of Cowboy Bebop in "Full Frame" from Smartz Place, but only after placing my order did I learn what full frame means. Had I known beforehand, I would have kept looking for a widescreen version. The customer service number listed on the returns slip that came with the DVD was inactive. The only option to contact Smartz Place customer service was through email, and they have no "returns department" despite mentioning it in their FAQ. The email responses that I received were informal and unprofessional. It seemed that two different people communicated with me through the same personal email address and no clear format was used. The return address that I was given differed from the one that came with the DVDs, and the one listed on the website. Apparently I used the wrong one because a few weeks after mailing my return I got it back with the postal code "Attempt Not Known." Smartz Place is a sloppily run company with less than stellar customer service, and an inconsistent website and returns process. I usually buy from Amazon and I was very irritated by the difficulty I encountered with Smartz Place's return process. I will support this seller with my business again."
"I too am having problems with receiving my order it was placed April 1, 2012. I received confirmation and my card was charged in US dollars but when I went back to check my order it had been converted to Euros. Which would not be a problem except they did not notify me that is was going to be done.
I have not received this order and have had no email from them other than the one telling me it was confirmed.
i too have checked my status and it has not information. I have attempted to contact them by email twice now. No response, and I too cannot reach them by phone.
I will give it till the end of this week and then file fraud charges and dispute charge with my bank.
I will let you know if I get a response, but from the reviews here I dont really expect I will hear from them.
I am very disappointed and very dissatisfied with their customer service which seems to be non exsistant .

In fact, I am thinking of getting a birthday present for one of my friends who lives in the US from the site. It`s a great idea to buy some CDs and have them delivered to his door!"
"Read whole review. I have updated it. It starts off bad, but gets better. I ordered 6 DVDS. 5 came within a week. The shipping list said order complete. I was charged for all 6, but I got 5. No one answers email. No one answers phone. It rings once and then disconnects. No response to email. I will keep you updated. 10-21-2011... 10-23, I disputed the part of the charge for the missing item with my credit card and got credit. To bad, because otherwise I was quite satisfied with my purchase and would have remained a customer. I can't recommend them due to lack of response to emails and I am not able to contact them with any phone numbers that they list or the one on my credit card bill listed with the charge. ***** On 10-29-2011 I got an email from them apologising for the mistake and a promise that the DVD will be sent out in a day or so. (I saved that email address) They also gave me a credit on my account to put towards my next purchase as a way of further apology. That was nice of them. I will update more when I get the DVD. The missing DVD arrived safely today. I released my credit card dispute. *****11-2-11... I made another order with the credit I got from them and an additional $17. I'll let you know how that goes. *****11-7-2011. I got the order that I used my credit on with no problems at all. I now recommend this site as a decent low cost dvd seller. "first time I bought something out of amazon just because price was soo much lower. I knew nothing about SMARTS but they did well for me. I've got my discs in 9 days and been charged just as expected. I like free shipping, but they are pushing me to buy at least 3 titles at once. Music selection is poor, but video is great!"

"SMARTZPLACE.COM IS CLOSED. For some reason their website still works. You can place your order and you'll even recieve a confirmation e-mail. But you never receive your product, no one responds to your e-mails and all their phone numbers are disconnected."
