"Having just bought a new PC I needed a new version of MS Office and, because I often work offline, 365 didn't seem suitable. Therefore I searched for somewhere to buy a genuine copy of Office 2019 Home and Business ( I wanted Outlook, Word and Excel but didn't need Access or Publisher). On the web there are many sellers offering Office Professional Plus for under £20 per licence but Professional Plus is only licensed through volume licensing channels, i.e for businesses or OEMs, so these licences seemed to be dodgy to me (though retired now I used to work as an IT Configuration Manager so was well trained on Microsoft licensing requirements). It was not actually that easy to find a genuine MS certified partner selling "boxed" Office licences until I came across SoftwareKeep (a lot of those I knew from my working days seem no longer to be trading or sell to businesses only). A bit of research satisfied me they are a genuine MS VAR and their price for Office Home and Business offered a good discount on list price. I therefore purchased a licence, had to wait about 30 minutes for an email with a download link and product key after which installation and registration with Microsoft was an easy task. Successful registration with Microsoft is the sure way of confirming that a licence is genuine!"
