SCAM!!!!

"SCAM!!!! I needed sunglasses for a trip because I had lost mine. Found the replacements online and emailed the seller to be absolutely sure they could deliver the sunglasses within my desired timeframe. They swiftly responded and reassured me that they could ship them out that day and they would arrive the next day. I paid an extra $25 for overnight shipping. The tracking label was sent to me but the package never moved or ever appeared to be collected by FedEx. When I emailed them asking where my package was they blamed FedEx and said the FedEx employee must have failed to scan the package. Obviously a highly unlikely chance. $200 later I have no sunglasses and after doing more digging they have scammed countless customers the same way. "

"I ordered a pair of Oliver Peoples sunglasses. They arrived quickly and were brand new authentic with warranty etc.

I have no complaints at all about this vendor. The price was competitive and customer service was great.

"Pros:
- fast shipping
- appeared to be genuine glasses

Cons:
- they shipped the glasses in a bubble wrap envelope, no box, and the glasses arrived crushed
- they sent the wrong glasses

Customer service was initially very responsive to the problem. They provided me with a return shipping label and said they'd send a replacement. I waited a week for the replacement to arrive and then received an email that my order had been refunded. No replacement was sent and I waited a week for nothing.

They incorrectly deducted a restocking fee from my refund. Emails to customer support about the mistake went unanswered. It took 3 separate phone calls to get the refund fixed.

Everyone I spoke to was very nice but this company is incompetent.

"Horribly slow shipping, not really worth the savings over just buying them elsewhere. Placed an order on the 6th, didn't ship until the 15 and still hasn't arrived. Customer service wasn't very helpful, won't do business with them in the future. "

"I ordered a pair of Maui Jim glasses from Sole Eye Wear during their Holiday sale which promised a hassle-free return experience. That coupled with excellent resellerratings review and a can't-beat-price made this seem like quite the place to shop for shades. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The glasses arrived but did not appear to be new: the box's seal was broken and the paperwork crumpled. Turns out my wife did not like the look of the glasses anyway, so I went about submitting a refund request through their online system. I waited a few days and received no response. I tried contacting them again via their online system. Apparently, they do not check it. I called them directly. This was much more effective. The CSR was very nice and responsive and when I informed him of the condition of the glasses he apologized and stated they were the first pair and needed to be taken out to be photographed. Okay, I suppose I can understand that. He processed a shipping label for me and I shipped the glasses back to them promptly. About a week later, to my dismay, I receive a partial refund on something I should have received a full-refund for as return shipping costs were paid during the holiday sale. I immediately submitted a dispute resolution request via Paypal. A few days went by and I had not heard from them. I reasoned they probably didn't check their e-mail as per prior experience and decided to call. Spoke with a nice gentlemen who acknowledged the error and processed a full return for me. The problem here is a matter of principle. You advertise hassle-free returns, well then, returns should be hassle-free. I shouldn't have to call each time to enact a resolution when you have an internet system in place. The customer service you do reach when calling is great but the overall experience is disappointing. Can't recommend this to anyone I know. If they could get their internet service to match their phone service, then my review would certainly be different and I would look forward to shopping here again (since the prices are great and the wife buys a couple pairs of sunglasses a year). "
