"ordered a Sole F80 on 1/31/06 and received an F83 Go figure?? (Was shipped from Spirit Manufacturing from Arkansas). Then ordered some deck lube through Spirit Manufacturing on 4/3/08. Received both items promptly. Just after 2 years of average use something popped and my very quiet treadmill became very loud. I determined the back roller bearing went out. Had to have it repaired. Treadmill Doctor repaired it (took 6 weeks!!) and said the bearings were not very heavy duty. Roller bearings should not go out on a 2 year old $1800.00 machine. Now I am wondering how well this machine is going to hold up compared to my last machine (a $500 Proform that lasted 8 Years). Time will tell. "

"Excellent experience! I emailed with questions regarding the treadmill I was looking for (Sole F80) and they responded quickly. After ordering I received the treadmill days before the tracking order estimated time of arrival. The treadmill is solid and was not difficult to put together.

Knowing that the box would be very heavy after reading other reviews, I was prepared with a couple of piano dolly's which made moving the box into my exercise area much easier.

"Shopped quite a bit for folding treadmills and found the Spirit treadmill to be considered one of the very best. Sole Treadmills (the subject of this review) contracts Spirit Fitness to build their equipment. Buy one, or buy the other, doesn't much matter... they just have different decals and a few other not-too-significant changes.

I purchased the F83. I received it in good order, shipping was fine.. but you better be ready for some hard work when it arrives.. they're very heavy. The treadmill is of high quality... the control panel could use a little work.. not very high-tech in appearance though its function is well thought out and suitable for the workouts.

Good company as far as I know.. They responded quickly to my order and shipped (actually Spirit ships from their warehouse) almost immediately. If you want a 15% discount (which I'm sure you do..
