"I ordered a cover lifter and a custom spa cover over the phone with the help of a very personable and knowledgeable order entry associate. Wow in less than 1 week I received the cover lifter. In less than 3 weeks I received the custom spa cover. Fabulous Awesome Beautiful Timely Impressed .Perfect size and color. It is truly amazing that there is a company out there that not only meets expectations but exceeds them by a long shot.With no qualms I will be ordering my spa maintenance supplies from them in the future.I would recommend Solis Spa Covers for any and all spa cover to anyone that needs them based on my recent experience."
"Unbelievably bad support and indignant customer service. Promises, promises, promises. It's been 6 weeks since we returned our defective spa cover and all we were getting was the "run-around" as to how the damage was our fault and not a Manufacture's Warranty issue. Then things went "DARK" for 3 weeks plus...not a call back, email, written correspondence...NOTHING! Oh, and the supposed OWNER was personally handling our situation - yeah right. Stay away. I have already contacted the BBB in Florida and logged my complaint. "
"I ordered a spa cover from solis because I needed one fast and they promised fast delivery. Instead of the ten days, which they claim are business days, it was nearly two months before I received the cover.
The cover is exceptionally light, the vinyl appears to be decent quality.
Within about 5 months of owning the cover it began to sag on each side and collect water. I was perplexed! When I contacted solis it was apparent that the decision was made before they even saw pictures. I doubt they ever warranty any covers!!!
What happens with their covers is the heat from the sun shrinks their inferior foam, allowing water to collect, the worse the problem gets, the faster it gets worse. It doesn't take much to bend their flimsy metal reinforcement, and water is heavy, so it will happen, and that's their excuse, you must have bent it somehow, or snow bent it (which we get very little of).
The only way their covers will last is indoors, no sun, no weather. "
"Please do yourself a favor, buy somewhere else! This company lied to me over and over again, told me I would have my cover before Christmas 2015! They forgot to tell me that there was no chance of that happening, they also forgot to tell me that they were going to be closed between Christmas and New Years! When they finally decided to go back to work, they told me my cover would be shipped out to me, and it would be delivered by January 15th, almost a month after their first promised date. When the cover did not arrive on the 15th, I called to find out where it was, and was told that the trucking company had supposedly lost it somewhere! Just how the heck does anybody lose something that big!!! After about a week of "hunting" for the lost cover, they told me they would send one out the next day, funny, they told me that the first one would take at least 4 weeks to make, and here they could make one in one eight hour shift! When the cover finally got here on the 27th of January, I took all the cardboard box off of it to make sure that everything looked okay. Thankfully it was okay.
Then on July 9th, I contacted them because their Premium cover, had developed a spot on the underside that had turned hard, and rough! Talk about NO SERVICE!! THIS COMPANY SHOULD HAVE A PICTURE OF THEIR COMPANY SIGN LISTED IN THE DICTIONARY UNDER WORTHLESS!
After contacting them, they told me to send pics of the problem to them, sounded good to me. The problem started from there. They gave me bogus email addresses four different times, and who knows, the last one may have been bogus also, all I know is the last one was not returned as undeliverable! That was almost 2 months ago, and I have never heard a thing back from them, not that I haven't tried to contact them, I have via email, as I want what ever they have to say in writing! I was stupid, and thought that some of the reviews had to be made up, well they are not made up. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH, PERIOD!! IF I LIVED IN FLORIDA INSTEAD OF ILLINOIS, I WOULD BE ON THEIR DOOR STEP EVERY MORNING, UNTIL MY COVER WAS FIXED, OR I GOT MY MONEY BACK!"
"well you place the order,then you call about location of cover and get told oh another week then next week your get told 24 to 48 hours more then it will ship then 4 days latter your get told oh it shipped yesterday but it did not then you call your credit card company and they are told it shipped yesterday and you will get in 7 days but wait after that 2 days latter a shipping label is made for trucking company to pick in the next 2 days then a truck picks up take to a terminal unloads it and now it sits there 6 days no estimate when it will make it to my state what a mess buy local not from an online cover company"
"Love our new spa cover! Bought a replacement spa cover from Solis in 2009 and found the need to replace it in 2016 due to water absorption in the foam core. 6 years seems a good lifespan. Both covers were perfect. Our only problem is disposing of the old covers!"
