Only place I go!

"Shipping, returns, prices, service,,,, all 100%! I've been using them for over 10 years, never had an issue! They've discounted items that I was honestly shocked they did- and returns always were just a click and done- I don't even compare prices online anymore, I just go straight to Sonic.. "

Very poor customer service!

"We were offered a unique promo code by Sonic Electronix, but we entered the code incorrectly during our order. We contacted the company to ask for a credit to honor the promo code. It took the company a week to deny our request, which would have only been $16. We are dismayed by the lack of response from customer service, and we will no longer do business with Sonic Electronix."

SCAM ARTISTS

"DO NOT USE SONIC ELECTRONIX! They sent me a used 12"Alpine Sub enclosure. First they blamed it on shipping. Was wrapped in plastic, completely covered in Styrofoam, and covered by not 1, but 2 boxes. Clear by scratches and chips on bezel, that it was a used sub. Could hear clunking in box. Hooked it up, didn't work. Checked my connections on another speaker, worked fine. Countless emails and phone calls, they wouldn't return my money. Out $450CDN. Scam artists. DO NOT BUY FROM SONIC. You'll be sorry "

Stop! Save yourself the headache

"Just go ahead and save yourself from a huge hassle and skip this company. They advertise next day shipping but a week later after several emails and a call to them they can’t explain why your order hasn’t shipped yet. This is one of those companies that also charges your credit card immediately and not when your order ships.
I strayed away from the always reliable service and shipping of Crutchfield to try to save a few bucks and got burnt. Lesson learned, I’ll never place an order with these guys again no matter what deals they have.

Horrible. Don't do it.

"At first I thought i was getting a good deal until I installed the unit. The unit was horrible. So bad in fact that I took it out and used a wireless speaker. However that was just when my problems started. No customer service unless it's to buy something. After numerous calls and emails I stopped getting any responses at all. Don't believe what they put on their website, if you have an issue or the unit is garbage, you are stuck with it. Get your radio/electrics from someone who if you have an issue will help you and except returns. I've never encountered such a place especially online where you can't see the product in person that doesn't allow returns for poor products.

A Bunch of Clowns That Can't Do Anything Right

"Placed and order from them through Amazon on 11-28. Shipping label generated on 11-29. I thought great, I'll have it for the weekend of 12-5. Thursday 11-3, 4 days after the shipping label was generated, the post office tracking says they haven't received the package yet. Contacted customer support and asked if they could get this shipment out as I'd like to have it for my weekend project. They assured me, even though the post office said they hadn't received it, that the post office did receive it and they are just behind on their tracking. I roll my eyes here. Being it was only going from Kentucky to Ohio I once again thought great, if they get it out today, it will be here for the weekend. Weekend goes by with no package. Monday and Tuesday go by with no package. Tracking says they still haven't received it. Tuesday was the last day of the delivery window from Amazon, so Wednesday morning I contact Sonic Electronix again and tell them to cancel my order and refund my payment because they missed the delivery date and tracking still showed no receipt by the post office. I receive an email back saying they can't do that because the item has shipped, but I can return it for a refund. I check the tracking again, a few hours after the original email asking for a refund, and now tracking shows the package received by the post office. What a joke."

Far from experts

"I don't know how this company has high reviews, the bbb gives them a F rating and is well deserved. I did a phone order with their "tech support" who are not up to date they gave me wrong info. Sold me the wrong speakers,adapter plates, i have been calling for a week and half no one answers the phone,emails,put return request in no replays etc what a joke take the money and run. Should have ordered from crutchfeild "

Unprofessional.

"Made me wait 2 months to tell me my enclosure i ordered specifically, was not in stock then proceeded to try and credit towards another random 12 inch enclosure when I asked for a refund. on top of all that I went almost 2 months with no shipping info or any info on the purchase I tried to make. customer service doesn't exist with this company. bad communication and very unprofessional to try and just assume I would want a box they picked out when I tried to get one specifically for the install im doing, they could have sold me literally anything if I didn't ask for my money back this process would have been worse because I can't do a return because of COVID and they know that."

I WAS GUARANTEED DELIVERY

"I was guaranteed delivery. I had professional installation scheduled and had to pay a $50 cancellation fee to the installer. I made several requests during several days for a tracking number and I never received a response. No one responded to me until my third email which was after the guaranteed delivery date and the installation company requires a 24 hour cancellation. I requested to be reimbursed the $50 fee I was charged that could have been avoided simply thru communication and no one ever responded to me. The item stated order by 1pm and the order ships the same day. It took about 5 days for them to ship out the order. "

Shady

"Horrible! Purchases two Stinger PG-34 grommets to run some wire into the vehicle. Shipping was fast but they sent two generic PG21 grommets. Shipped in a plastic bag with a sticker that reflected they were PG34's even those the grommets are stamped with the model number.....returned them but yet they didn't refund the shipping charge. Not a big deal over five bucks, but when you screw up, I shouldn't have to pay. They claim they "made an exception" and will refund the shipping, but three days have passed and nothing. I won't buy another thing from them. "

SonicElectronix Sent Me The Wrong Item

"I placed an order with Sonic Electronix for a JL Audio 10TW3-D4 subwoofer. When my order arrived, it was not the subwoofer that I purchased, but instead a cheap generic car amplifier. I contacted the company in regards to my order. They apologized for their mistake and said they would email me a return label for the product. I asked when they planning on sending out the correct item that I ordered and they replied with when we receive the amplifier back. I had taken the upcoming weekend off from work to do the install, but now instead I have to make a TWO hour round trip to the local FedEx office to drop off the incorrect item that they sent me."

Wrong harness and sold something that was stock

"I tried to order a new car stereo for my girlfriend's car since she broke the aux plug in her factory radio. So far I've had a terrible experience with the company, the ad said free wiring harness and dash kit with radio purchase, so I purchased an avh-210ex pioneer unit with a backcamera normally sold separately but bundled in a set through the website. I waited anxiously for it to arrive when it finally did it came with no dash kit, I called that same day to find out what had happened I was told we were out of stock and that's why it didn't get sent to you, we'll receive more stock in 2 weeks and overnight it to you, so I said ok I'll just have to install it at a later date for my girlfriend. Being as I had never installed a stereo in my girlfriend's model car a Chevy sonic I hit up YouTube, which led me to realize they sent me the entirely wrong wiring adapter for the radio, upon further "googling" I found out what they sent me was the wiring to install a remote starter on the vehicle. So I called again today and asked to return the harness and to stop the order for the undelivered dash kit and for a refund, the man on the phone tried intensely and repeatedly to persuade me into not canceling the undelivered dash kit but I refused, to which he finally said we'll send you an email on how to return it and how to get your money back it's been over an hour still no email."
