"Very bad experience with Sonic Electronics. Purchased an LG tv at a VERY good price. To good to be true $1999.99 free shipping on LG55LH90. I knew item was on backorder when I purchased on 11/13/09. Was willing to wait for one at that price. They advised they were getting a shipment in on 12/11/09, but that was to fill those waiting since Sept & Oct. more than likely Jan 2010 when mine would come in. With that being said it sounded legit as if the pipeline was working just a little behind and they would come through in the end. I had my doubts and it came true on Dec 17th when they sent an e-mail stating "This e-mail is to communicate to you that we have canceled your pending back-order. This is due to the fact that one or more items are not currently available to us." I went to their web-site that same day and they still were showing it advertised for sale now for $2299 still showing on back-order though. On Dec 18th I called spoke to Ricky in c.s. I asked him to go to the web-site and see the item in question. After drilling him about false advertising he asked me to refresh my screen and one I did the item was gone. Way to go Ricky! He claimed it wasn't he that did it. Please! I noticed even though Ricky did his majic there are still 11 LG tv's showing on back-order. I my opinion they have no supply line to actually obtain these tv's and distribute them to the public. Why advertise something you obviously can't deliver on? Shady organization with 61 complaints with the BBB. Buyer beware, "you get what you pay for" just in my case that happened to be nothing. As of today they have not credited my credit card. I sure am glad I floated them a $1999.99 loan for over 35days. I wonder if I get interest back once they give me back my money? NAAHHH!
