"I called to get some prices on a local storage facility in Phoenix. I was speaking with George. He was professional at first and gave me some prices on a few locations. However, as soon as I told him that all of the facilities he offered were too far away from me, he hung up on me as I was right in the middle of a conversation with him and I was still talking. "
"Sparefoot made a reservation for a 3rd party "West Coast Storage on Lafayette St Santa Clara that did not exist. They informed me that it was an interior 1st floor unit and I found out from West Coast Storage that my unit (7x10) did not even exist on the 1st floor. Both Sparefoot and West Coast Storage are at fault...... I would suggest you look somewhere else for your self storage needs as they will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale only to have you find out it is inaccurate. Not what you need when you are coordinating your self storage needs.

Sacramento, CA 95838 ***-***-**** ) called to tell me that they did not have the unit I had reserved. On top of that they tried to say they had been trying to get ahold of me for days!!! I answered the first phone call I received from them. Completely absurd! I would not recommend this storage company, they are rude and arrogant and somehow their computer system going down is my fault. FYI SpareFoot reservations are "soft" reservations so if someone walks in before you wanting the unit you reserved its theirs and no longer yours."
"The site provided a great way to find and compare numerous storage places in my area. However, one of the places I called on said they had no units available and they had notified sparefoot.com several times. Also, the place I actually rented a unit from had a slightly higher rental rate than was advertised on sparefoot.com, to which they also said they had notified sparefoot.com several times about the change. It seems like sparefoot.com needs to do a better job processing the information that is provided to them."
