"I had a speaker repair service done with Speaker Exchange and my experience is not so great. First, when I described the problem to them, they didn't make any comments but just asking me to send it in. After they got the speaker, they told me it will cost more than what they quoted me initially. Finally, they agreed with the original quote then told me after it was done, it may not sound the same. Well, I wish they told me this before I sent it in. When I got the speaker back, first the workmanship was very bad. Glue was not evenly applied. Originally, no glue can be seen on the speaker and after the repair glue can be seen. Also, there are many broken copper wire chips in the glue, again poor workmanship. Now, the speaker doesn't look the same anymore which I wasn't informed at the beginning. When I tested the sound, it doesn't sound the same is an under statement. It just sound horrible, it's like the built in computer speaker which is totally unacceptable. When I contacted them, they said the glue and the copper chips are normal and the sound is expected not the same. "
