"Given the .co.uk website, the prices in UK pounds sterling, and the UK phone number, you would think that this is a UK company. This is clearly what they want you to believe, but in fact they are trading from the USA from behind a mail forwarding address.

The software that I received is the US edition. In my case it meant I could not register it here in the UK. (Incidentally, it says this very clearly on the outside of the box.) When I phoned them they apologised and promised to forward my complaint to the management. I got a reply fairly quickly - telling me that there was no problem and I could register it; I would just not be able to receive the product support. I then asked to return the software for a refund. Since then they have not replied to any of my emails and their telephone number has stopped working.

I am now left with a software package that I cannot use and I cannot get a refund.

One other tidbit of information. Specialty Software appear to be a sister company of Crazy Cameras. Look up the reviews for Crazy Cameras and you might see a pattern."

"My advice to anyone considering purchasing from this company is 'DON'T'. I wish I had read the previous reviews as I ordered a netbook computer in March with the promise it would arrive within 5 - 10 days. I did not receive the item and after contacting them was informed they were awaiting stock. After still no delivery I contacted again but was given the same answer and I cancelled my order. I was informed I would receive a refund within 5 - 7 days; this did not happen and all attempts now to contact them have failed - my emails have returned as 'failed to deliver' and when I have tried to ring they say all advisors are engaged and to wait for the next one. I waited on the phone for 10 minutes then the phone cuts off. I have advised my bank who are now undertaking a fraud investigation. I hope this prevents anyone else from the experience I have had."

"This is a scam, they are in the usa. Do not buy anything here, this website is a scam (fraud), no address, no info, dns registed in the usa, you will not get the goods, and of course, the money back. The website has been registered a few months ago. It seems that they change everything every few months, there is no address and they are not in the UK"
